New guy again ha… i was wondering if autos work/respond as they should or would be expected when using the scrog method? Or does it need to be reg fem seeds with the longer/standard grow period for it to be useful?
You’re better off with fem photos in a scrog. Autos do what they want and could start flower before they even get started in the net. Doesn’t hurt to try though. You may get an auto phenotype that likes to veg for a while.

@BobbyDigital ha it is a little late to ask as i have set mine up so i will see but i was just curious …in my head fems would work better with more time to train/direct em to further holes…but guess ill see…doing 4 gorilla glue autos

Not even close to that point…two of em are a week old barely an inch tall and the other 2 went in the dirt yesterday. I just went ahead and setup the screen 9" above the top of the grow bags

Idk maybe theyll scrog themselves in a 4x4 tent… this is going to be quite a learning experience
Lol, that’s be nice. But they will just grow up and through the squares not caring they’re even there. Never had a bad scrogged plant (never scrogged an auto though). They all turn out fantastic. The net is annoying when it comes to watering but you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Ha true that…well i can open 3 of 4 sides (one being against the wall) so should be ok accessing them…the only trouble would be if they’re overgrown…which is a non problem at any rate of work… would love to maximize these autos the best i can…then maybe try some reg fems
Most say about 2oz from each…seed “specs” say 5-6 so im hoping for the middle …3-4 lol

Yeah that’s under great lighting and great conditions. It’s also per square meter. I’m not a fan of autos. I’ve grown 5 or 6 blueberry autos and every pheno was the same. Big, fluffy buds. I don’t like fluffy buds. This is one example

Another maybe dumb question…can ya grow autos and reg fems in the same tent at the same time? Beings that they’re autos they just automatically flower regardless of the light so you just run a light regimen for the reg fems …you’d just harvest the autos when they’re ready and dry somewhere else and let the fem keep doin its thing…or doesn’t it work like that? lol
I suppose i may get picky after a few grows but it’s my first so if i get awesome buds at all ill be stoked lol
i just went for the highest thc ones ilgm had…the gorilla glue…hoping it would render some fn awesome buds lol

Yeah, every auto I grew, I grew along side of photos. But the autos took longer to finish than the photos

I thought reg fems take 15-20 weeks…autos are 10 aren’t they?

Im not currently doing that…i only have gorilla glue autos going…i was just wondering if it would work to have the 2 different kinds together
