To late to tie down?

Started a blue dream auto a few weeks ago and done a tie down on main stalk about 3 weeks old. it has now started to flower but is getting taller than my other plants. i only have the one main light so afraid it may become a problem if it gets to tall. Would it be ok for me to tie down branches ar this point to try to control it height or is it to old? I am new to growing and this is only my 3rd plant. Thanks

If you can do some bending without breaking stems then it’ll be fine. The longer she’s in flower the more rigid the stalks get.

ok ill give it a go and just try to be gentle. i had read somewhere that its best to tie down before they start flowering so i was worried to just try it. I guess the stems getting more rigid is reason for that. That is good info to know. thank you

I have tied down in flower in but I think you’ll find that you can only bend the top parts of the branch where it is more pliable. Just be very gentle…you may need to bend that branch on few times over a week going further each time.

Have a side picture? She looks lanky. If so you are golden to spread her a bit. I do not think she has much more stretch in her. Buttons are pretty well formed.

Ive just been letting it ride and crossing my fingers that it doesnt get much taller. I dont think its tall enough right now to cause a real problem. One of my other plants is about to be chopped so I will be moving it to a more prime position under the light soon. I actually miscalculated how long the other plant still had and how fast this one would grow or I would have held off on starting this one. I dont really feel like I have enough light for 3 plants but here I am lol

My grow. The light is a spider farmer sf2000. If I remember correctly it flowers 2.5x2.5 area. The stand lights are a no name china lights. They wouldnt support a seedling so I doubt they are really helping much. I just did move my grow into a tent. Which brings up my next question. My temp is 78 f. The RH is 56. should I run my humidifier? Im just nervous having plants in late flower because of mold.

Just remember to adjust slowly because temp and humidity need to balance each other out and they change depending on each others value…

thank you that is a really neat and helpful chart. Im going to save that. If im reading it correctly, Im actually pretty close to the proper balance for late flowering? I have a young plant in there also which I know could use more humidity but i goofed up starting it to early.

Just find a happy medium for the both of them. I am not a fan of humidity domes at any age… but that’s just me LOL
