Plants are getting too tall

Question from a fellow grower:

My biggest concern right now is that my plants are going to be too close to the high pressure sodium light that I have hanging. I didn’t realize that the plants would grow or almost double in size when I started the flowering process. I think it’s going to be close I think the the light should still be 2 feet away but do you have any other suggestions?

You could alway bend the branches over and tie them in place if you have the space to work with. I do that with all my plants.

Before the tie down.

After the tie down.

U can tie the top dwn away from light, not sure if topping it is a good idea in flower tho. Other experienced people will help with topping beimg a good idea or not

A couple things that may work for you without seeing a picture of your situation. You can try to shorten the cables to a minimum that holds your light gaining you a few inches. Pull and tie down the taller branches. Good luck

Depending on how far into flower they are you can super crop your best bet is to join us so we can help out

super crop = gently bending the branch so i leans over, but doesnt actually break off

topping = chopping off part of the top of your plant.
not a good idea in flower unless you want to reduce your yield
