Hey everyone,
Long time reader, first time poster.
I’m looking for some advice on whether to cut my plants down tomorrow or wait.
Here is some info on my grow:
- Outdoor grow in Southern Ontario.
- The 2 plants are LSD and Blueberry OG (both Barneys and both feminized).
- I’m fairly certain I’m around day 55 of flower.
- Used Foxfarm nutes up until last week. Straight water since.
- Barney’s site says 60-65 days for LSD (1st-2nd week Oct.)and 55-65 for Blueberry (2nd-3rd).
- LSD is in the ground and the buds are just starting to fill out.
- Blueberry is in a 100 gallon grow pot and the buds are a decent size but starting to fall over.
My main problem is that I’ve been fighting WPM on the Blueberry for over 2 weeks now. I had the seeds left over from an old indoor grow and didn’t realize this would be an issue outside (I’ve now learned my lesson).
I’ve been cutting off leaves every morning but it’s slowly spreading. I also found it on the LSD this morning. I’ve only grown a few times but I think the plants need a couple of more weeks. The pistils haven’t really turned and the trichomes look fairly clear (in my opinion).
I’m looking at the weather forecast and its showing rain for the next week and the temps are dropping to between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius at night. My pictures aren’t great but do you think I should cut them down tomorrow before the rain or wait it out and hope the weather turns around after next Thursday?
I would normally wait but I’m dealing with the mildew issue and think (perhaps incorrectly) it might be better to cut them a bit early than to risk losing them completely.
I’d appreciate any help and replies. Again, the pictures aren’t great (shot today with minimal sun). I looked at some leaves last night under a microscope and they looked fairly clear but I was drinking so who knows! You can see the mildew in the last couple of pictures
