Forgot to ask. Is that 18/6 light schedule or it doesn’t matter as long as you’re in that scope on your schedule? I know the meter changes a little on the photone app when I switch to measure my photos. I should honestly break down and buy an apogee or spoton meter

I have now totally changed how I grow autos, and have proven much of the regurgitated mess I was taught was wrong.
I now transplant not once but twice sometimes, from starter pot to 2 quart to 3 gallon pot and at each transplant I have fresh hot soil in the bottom and this way I can just feed them start to finish with very little to no extra nutes at all. I top them indoors but let them go outdoors. I spray with 9 parts water one part milk and have eliminated calcium issues and use fish and Kelp for big stinky buds when I need it.

Time is in the equation for figuring the dli so as long as you change the time on the app you’re good, it does the math for us. I like to run my autos on a 6/2 schedule it seems to let me run the higher dli without stressing them. I know the numbers from the app are wrong but they are close enough to get you to a good starting point and then let the plants tell you if it’s to much. My goal is to run a little higher than recommend dli at the top of the canopy so that the dli down a foot or more into the plant is over 30 to get longer colas. Just have to be careful if you go to high it stresses em and will slow or worse stop growth
