Thoughts on the spider farmer se7000

Hands down I would still go with HLG

But aren’t the Samsung LM301b and Osram diodes the best horticulture leds available? What makes you choose HLG? just overall quality or? what diodes do they use? Thoughts on BridgeLux diodes?

@Juco if you can get the se7000 for 640 I would go with that if I’m not mistaken they’re like 700+ watts and are using the same diodes as hlg even if they are a lower bin you aren’t going to get 700 watts from hlg for that price and I’ve seen both light perform and I don’t think the hlg are that much better if at all

To my knowledge, HLG uses top bin Samsung diodes. Either 301B or 301H. I think their reds are also Samsung. I can not say if Osram or Samsung reds are better than the other. Cree XP red is highly regarded too.
I have three HLG 260’s that have 301b diodes. I believe the SonoFarm also uses them but probably a lower bin based on its price.
A lot of this light business comes down to personal choice and of course $$. I prefer multiple lights over one large one. Having the ability to individually adjust height is nice. As is the ability to turn one off if it isn’t needed.
A while back I had a mix up with a HLG delivery. Within two emails the issue was resolved and I received the light in two days. I do not know if that would happen with a different company.

Yeah the new Blackbrd with the updated color spectrum .you just know it could grow buds that could make you take back things you didn’t steal. 720.00 bucks with the dude discount.

Link that 649 partner. I want a few more

I have started using the se7000 about 3 weeks ago, the results I have gotten have been amazing! I usually run hps but after running just one of these spider farmer lights im strongly considering making a complete switch over. Let me know how’s your setup going

How are you guys liking the se7000s a few years later? They are on sale now for $549 vs $639 for an ac infinity evo8.

Which one is better do you guys think?
