Looking for thoughts on timeframe left before harvest. I ordered female seeds from another website (shame on me) and I believe I was sent an auto flower instead as it began flowering without switching light cycles.
According to the site, it is a 10 week flower time, but I’m unsure if it is even the right plant or how accurate. Currently at day 45 of flower.

Shes filling out nicely. Its hard to give a real timeframe based off the trichome pics without knowing what part of the plant they were taken from. If theyre from sugar leaves then none of that amber counts.
Be sure to take pics from the calyx of the cola to get acvurate readings. If thise were from the calyx then shes about ready. But 45 days is an extremely short flowering time. If the photoperiod version says 10 weeks flower then the autoflower will follow the same timeframe.
Id personally say she has 2 to 4 weeks left minimum

It’s kinda hard to tell if those are buds or sugar leaves in the pics, but if they’re buds, then it’s really user preference at this point. Lots of cloudy, plenty amber, hardly a white hair in sight. Maybe a few more days if you wanna go for the more stoned, couch lock high. Looks great!!!
Edit… Tack on what @Ebb said. Do you think you can get some shots actually pushed up to the bud? The sugar leaves do make it difficult

I tried to grab shots of the different colas from the plant. It’s hard to get a clear pic when zoomed in that close. I will grab a couple more shots when the lights are back on.

For sure. Sometimes i take off whole calyx with a razor and check those just be sure if the leaf to calyx ratio is high.
Good advice here.
I would suggest turning your grow lights off and using the light built into the microscope, much to yellow to accurately read.
Stability is here, don’t be afraid to jam the sense right against the bud and then find the correct zoom (you’ll notice its alot more stable then trying to hover).
Some build stands, or use a mic stand, I just pulled up a chair close to the tent and leaned my arm on my knees if I was. Struggling (then again I’m super tall)
You’ll find what works just take your time to get a couple. Quality images taken from a couple different main buds.

Here’s and update with some shots of the bud from various spots on the plant. Currently week 8 day 53.
I am thinking of just watering for the next week or two and then chopping.
