Thoughts on trichomes and overall health of buds? Looks like most are cloudy and I so want to start harvesting, but no amber yet. Trying to be patient and not harvest too soon. Had one or two buds show some rot or mildew on 2 of my 8 girls.

It’s really based on what kind of high you want. If their all cloudy chop them if you want. You’ll know for next time if you want to let them go longer.
Order a microscope if you can. Get you good close up pictures of your trichomes.
Clear triches= zippy speedy high
Cloudy= they’re at peak thc level and will be a good day time smoke. Productive.
The more amber you have = the more narcotic couch lock type high. Hope this helps. I pull mine at 90-95% milky and 5-10% amber. Good level daytime smoke

Once most of your white pistils have turned amber and receded back into bud that is where I normally check triches every day until done
