I think I need a better option than this 30x loupe… Usually, in my grows, the pistils follow the trichomes pretty closely and I am much more sure of myself. I did the best I could to show you what I’m seeing… the trichome pic is my loupe attached to an iPhone. The trichomes don’t quite look done to me but all of the pistils have turned orange and retracted for about a week now. I also generally see more of the fall colors by now, although i have fed nutrients steady, last feed was 4 days ago. What do you guys think? Is it ready?

Looks like there’s still some clear in there. I’m inclined to say maybe a week or so, but check daily.

I second @Borderryan22 . A wise grower once told me, “When you think its ready, wait another week. Then, wait another.”

I also agree with @FishWhistleLabs and @Borderryan22 . I don’t see any amber at all. Maybe turn the light intensity down a bit. Looks like a little foxtailing starting.

Thank you, I did turn the light back some last week, maybe a little bit more.
I thought I saw some clear myself, for whatever reason my eyes have a hard time telling the difference in the in between stage of clear and cloudy unless the entire trichome is. I think I will get the digital microscope. Thank you for the help.
Shes starting to finish up. Looking great! I like to try to simulate fall during the last few weeks of ripening… its what mother nature does right? As mentioned above starting bumping your lights down to try to co trol foxtailing but also it will encourage ole girl to wrap things up. Dont be suprised if she shoots out some more frosty goodness as as a last ditch magic trick…
