Today is end of week 14

For the last week or so, I’ve been dealing with a lot of leaves yellowing. Feeding stopped as recommended for taste so, I have been removing them as I see them to prevent disease.
As of now, I would say the trichomes vary from bud to bud. Some have the 10 maybe 15% amber but then everything else is clear and milky combinations of trichomes.
I’m plenty patient since this is my first grow. I was curious, judging by the pictures, should I harvest now or give them another week or two? Its hard to judge using the trichomes and pistil method as a comparison. It’s even hard to tell when under the light if the pistils are at the 60-70% because someone mentioned how one of my plant is Fox-tailing in my last post.

Very nice! I think theyre so close, one to two weeks away can’t be predicted. It’s day-to-day now. The pistils say so but the trics are saying wait a bit. Just one grower’s opinion :slight_smile:

I’m likely on board with this opinion too. Close-up shots of the trichomes on the buds, via a macro lens or microscope, would be my suggestion. Then knowing what you’re desired effect is - if couchlock, then more amber = more better. :v:

The pistils wont tell you done, only suggest its time to start looking at the trichomes.

If I shouldn’t worry about the pistils, then I’m pretty close since some of the trichomes are turning amber and the rest are still clear/milky. I don’t want couch lock when it’s done. :laughing:

You want the trichomes to be opaque. They will look like the bottom of this banger.

Be sure to be looking at the trichs on the bud itself and not sugar leaves. Those will mature alot faster then the ones on the bud. Also, she will mature from the top down so try looking about 1/3 of the way down the plant aswell as 1/3 of the way down the bud itself.

Those are some beauties growmie:call_me_hand:t2::us:

I have no idea why it typed that last part

That is the most valuable information to date. Thank you so much for that advice. That is exactly what I will start doing. I was also looking at the leaves and not just the buds. In that case, it’s day to day and not quite there. I’m still seeing a lot of clear ones on the buds with the milky ones. First time blooper. :man_facepalming:
