Sorry for the question but I’m new and I was wondering if someone can clarify if these trichomes look cloudy. As good a pic as I could get so I understand if no one can tell. I have a loupe but I’m not that steady and it’s just hard for me to tell what I’m seeing.

From what I can see from your pic is that you’ve still have a few pistils that haven’t ambered yet so you’ve probably got a few weeks. That’s the best I can tell you without seeing a closer view of the trichomes. They look nice and frosty though! What strain and how long have they been under 12/12?

As far as your pic, It’s really hard to tell because the light is reflecting off the trichomes. So is it milky or is it light reflection?
If you can wait until you see some amber tops mixed in you’ll know. But that depends on what you want, from the chart above.
As @Geaux_N_Grow said, white pistils generally means a few more weeks.

Get yourself one of these they can be put on a mic stand so it’s steady. I can’t hold steady either. This microscope is not expensive about $30. It’s a necessity for growers to see great pictures of your Trichomes. Good luck with your grow my friend.

Is this 8 weeks in flower? Quite a few fox tails on the buds, what’s your lighting PPFD or DLI 
You were right about the foxtailing on my plants. My temps got high for to long I think. Although I also stopped giving nutes to early also I think. First time growing for me. My plant grew well and has huge buds but I messed up somewhere. I installed ac but to late. I have another plant same the conditions but it’s doing well. Different strain though. Sorry for the long message. But the way foxtailing one has that grassy smell and I haven’t cut it yet. I have two more fans in the tent. I don’t think it’s mold but not sure. Trichomes don’t seem to be be turning cloudy. Only a few. What do you think? It’s royal haze auto and I’m on week 14.
