Third Grow: Four Autos in a 2x4 Tent

It was a water day…like @bazoo says, this phase is like watching paint dry as the buds grow. Got a little color out of the GSCE, all the rest are shades of green.

I like that you were consistent with the defoliation. I have 2 autos going and I am picking leaves here and there. I haven’t figured out how much is too much yet with Autos.

I hear ya, man…I don’t know either. I just cut leaves in order to get light to all the bud sites since the canopy is uneven. I did another defoliation yesterday since they’re growing like crazy…

They never seem to break stride after a trimming that I notice. I removed a good amount of frosty leaves that are now in the freezer. Time will tell if they slow down at all.

I read that and literally laughed out loud! Every time I open that tent, I think the exact same thing ‘I’m wasting space. Jake can get 9 more plants in here!’. No sh!t, man…:sunglasses:

I bought a moisture meter the other day on a recommendation from @Audiofreak in another thread. Works pretty good, another tool to dial in our bud. The correct percentage is around 10% to 12%. Not bad since I was able to stabilize my drying humidity on my small tent.

Here we go again! All autos…2 Grand Daddy Purple & 2 Purple Hulk from MSNL. My plan was to grow one of each in 7 gallon pots to see what kind of yield I’d get. With my germination success at less than 50% from this supplier, I dropped two of each seed…aaaaand they all hatched! Albeit one hatched 3 days later. :hatching_chick:

Looks like I’m back to 3 gallon pots…

Welcome to the forum! There are a ton of great people here always willing to help.

Depends on the individual seed & pheno…they decide themselves. That’s why they call them ‘auto flowers’…they automatically go from veg to flower when their internal clock tells them to. On average, 4 to 6 weeks…hard to say. I’ve had some go sooner, some later.

Good luck grow bro!

Been pretty uneventful the last few weeks as the buds grow. They slowed down a bit…I was thinking nutrient lockout…so I gave them all a gallon of water w/CalMag. After four days I went back to 3/4 Jack’s and silica. Today I gave them 3/4 Jack’s again with some Tribus. Seeing the buds putting on weight again.

The baby girls are doing well. Two Grand Daddy Purple and two Purple Hulk, both autos…

Today was also a cleaning day in the tents. Washed the filter socks, vacuumed out the tents, and cleaned the humidifiers.

The GSCX is totally purple…crazy. The bud leaves are a bit crispy from the UVA light, but otherwise she’s doing well.

The Gelato is catching up a little…

The Gorilla Glue buds are fatting up…

The runt Big Bud is chugging along, didn’t have the heart to cull her…

All in all, we’re getting there!
