Ok so i decided to start a groe journal… today i planted straight into soil ( happy frog ).
1 cosmos f1
1 northern lights
1 cookies gelato
1 epilson f1
All are auto flowers and all are from royal queen seeds. I have them in red solo cups right now on a shelf in my reptile room… under some cheap full spectrum leds. In the mean time i have the 5 royal dwarf ( also from royal queen seeds ) autos in week 3 of flower so should have about 3 or 4 weeks to harvest for that.
I learned a lot during the first grow and hope to not make some of the same mistakes. But i learned how much these plants can really take.
So today was a fucked up day… all my supports for my lights fell broke like 3 branchs of my plant in flower. Knowcked the solo cops down. Lost one cookies gelato seed so replanted a new one. So had to go to home depot and buy something a lil more permant to hold up the lights. Shower curtain rods didnt work lol. But hey gave me the reason to pull all the plants out and clean the room good. Did some mild defoilation
Oh man what a day, but seems like you found a silver lining, shit happens, we adapt, and get back on that horse and keep going. Best of luck, lesson learned
Yeah. Lost about 8 nice flowers to it but oh well… this is something ive been wanting to get done just havent had the time lol…i think after the new year im gonna retire all my lights and just buy 1 good light for my room its a 6.5 x5 so im thinking 1kwatt 5x5 coverage
Definitely looking to follow along I’m on my first grow I got 3 super silver haze and 1 auto space candy I gotta couple more autos I wanna throw down as the one has unfortunately started to flower but I think I might want to upgrade the lighting before I throw more down i got 3 100w lights for my 5x5
So when i go to transplant the seedlings i was thinking of doing a mix of ffof and ffhf and mix in some extra perlite. Ill be going into 5 gallon pots and im hoping to transplant in a week or 2 seeing these are autoflowers. Then i have the fox farms trio and cal mag for nutes… gonna order the booster pack for when i start flower.
As an update when i checked this am the epilson has sprouted.
The 5 royal dwarfs are packing on the buds and looking amazing
