The bigger plant is super silver haze and the smaller one is auto space candy their both about 22 days old had some problems with overwatering definitely didn’t realize how sensitive these plants are to water I topped the S.S.H she bounced back after a day or 2 I also took too long to transplant the hp pro mix makes the roots grow faster than I expected I’ve been watering with a 6.0-6.1 ph I’m using regular tap I store in my tent so it’s room temp I’m using 2 100w lights with full spectrum I also have a light bar that adds a lot of blue and red
good luck on your grow…
also germ didn’t go so well had to wait for the other super silver seeds to come so there’s going to be 2 more hopefully their not too far behind to their both about 3 days old and looking great I’ve noticed these plants like it a little warmer than 80 degrees so I keep my tent around 83-85 and humidity at 72 the vpd stays around 1.1-1.2
Good luck and have fun. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
It’s a common problem for newer growers. Usually it’s too much water and not enough air, low temps or both.
warm and humid for for germination and seedlings and then you will slowly lower temp and Rh throughout the grow.
What medium are they growing in Growmie
Just hp pro mix I have a local shop that sells it
Unfortunately the auto started to flower the super silver haze is doing great I seen some holes on the top of the canopy I’m assuming it’s because the light is too close it’s 100w at about 21 22 inches away or not enough water I just topped her again. Also not sure if I should just top the main stems or if I should top the side branches as well help is appreciated.
The S.S.H is taking off already seeing new growth since I last topped and the seedlings seem to be doing fine maybe a little to close to the light but they seem okay
This Super silver has had some really nice growth in the couple days I think she’s almost ready for her next water
These girls are still looking great I can already see roots busting out of the bottoms of the seedlings also I had some seeds that didn’t sprout so the seed company sent me a bunch more I’d love to shout them out but I believe that I cannot do that here. But would it be okay to start more in the same tent it’s a 5x5 these are all going to be the super silver haze
They would probably prefer it a little cooler. Maybe store it in your lung room.
For now I would suggest topping once on the main stem. You can do more but I would focus on the basics for now.
It would probably be better to save them for another grow. You will already be low on light for flower with only 200w. It can also be difficult to manage plants of multiple sizes and ages. You can do it with good training, but no need to make things too complicated yet.
What are you planning to feed, Promix HP has no nutes in it. If you didn’t add anything to it you will need to feed with every watering.
I haven’t really decided on any specific nutes could you recommend some that would be great and I do have a 3rd 100w if needed I just assumed the 2 would be fine for now. Would the seeds be good for that long ?
I also cleaned up the bottom a little as someone recommended seems like she’s already stretching up I’ll post some more pics tomorrow
Jacks comes highly recommended and everyone says it’s easy. I haven’t used it though. I used general hydroponics flora series with good results. You can do a quick search on the forum and find lot’s of info on jacks that I can’t provide. You will need that other light for flower for sure. For the moment the one is good. Lights will be the most important and most expensive piece of your grow. you could probably make do with what you have now, but if you decide you want to stick with it good lighting should be at the top of the list.
Put them in the door of the fridge and they will be good for a long time.Seeds are usually good for at least a year or two minimum if stored properly. I’ve grown seeds that were 10 years old, though the old ones can be hard to germinate.
Yeah definitely looking into getting a light that’s actually for a 5x5 or even a 4x4 I had my first child and was working part time for a bit to help mom but I’ll be working full time pretty soon I’ll probably end up getting another inline fan as well as the I got is pretty cheap and only has 1 setting all or nothing
As long as the fan does the job you would probably get more value out of a hygrostat to control the one you have.
Yeah it definitely blows pretty strong I’ve just been using a piece of cardboard to cover part of it to keep humidity up kinda janky but it works
lol, whatever works. I think we’ve all been there.
Definitely got a nice little stretch after cleaning up the bottom a bit I also didn’t expect to have to transplant the seedlings yet but the one was busting through the bottom I’m sure the other one isn’t too far behind I also added a little mycros for the transplant I’m also quite sick so being in my tent rn feels like hell
@Gl1tch when would be a good time to add nutes definitely seems like the flowering lady could use some. A buddy of mine told me he waits till they’re about a foot tall. He also uses the hp pro mix.
