@GreenJewels, your thread has been very helpful especially with your incredible punning job you did on your girl.I remember looking at the before pictures and scratching my head as well
I never would have been this aggressive had I not seen what you did.
Thank you and @Grandaddy013 , you guys inspired me.
I took a lot of leaves off, it doesnt look like much but I was afraid of over doing it. I’ll do the other two girls tomorrow.
Do you guys think I should take more off them at this point or let them be?

How far along are you?

I literaly just flipped them to 12/12 this past saturday. I think I still have a good window for further pruning if necessary.

The two in the back I did not prune yet.

In the next 3 weeks, you need to remove the majority of your fan leaves so that your buds can get more light. Don’t do it all at once, stretch it out over the next three weeks.

Ok! gotcha, that’s perfect, thank you once again :slightly_smiling_face: I’ll do the other two plants tomorrow, they kinda overshadow the front ones hence it looks like there is a lot more leaves on them than in reality.

Haha that’s because you have some beastly, bushy ladies in your tent  they look fabulous @Mote

Thanks Missiles, the one in the rear left is the queen’s bees aka Tahoe, she broke her lst restraints long ago, I just noticed it the other day, she is an incredible specimen in her own right, I had nothing to do with it.

I’m simply hooked on growing these plants, if I can get them close to what you and GreenJewels are accomplishing I’ll be a happy camper. If they were runts I’d have more pot than I’d know what to do with

You are not even kidding!

I don’t think you will have a problem with that at all. Your girls are going to pass mine right up

I hope I dont f__up this part of the episode LOL. I kept a duct tape marker on the side of the tent, that’s how tall my other girls got, I want to let these girls get as big/tall as they can, they should easily surpass that milestone. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks @Killadruid, I just started a rigorous pruning job exactly for that specific purpose.
@GreenJewels, @Missiles, @BigDaddyCain & @Grandaddy013 have seriously inspired me, I would have probably only pruned the lower third of the plants otherwise. :v:

@Mote :joy: lol starting a trend lol it dose good mainly if you have limited space like I do I’m in a 4x4 tent so have to get as much as I can in each grow I’ve gotten almost a pound per plant doing it this way like I said I’ve been lazy last few grows and I wasn’t doing the trimming like I should have mainly it’s a lot of effort lol

I hadn’t realized it had been that long either @BigDaddyCain  I was glancing threw and noticed you were one of the first who answered my cry for help :+1: Believe me, you’ve convinced me dwc grows better. I love that it’s easier, and I’m not buying dirt. The fact that Dwc produces bigger plants which equals more bud is even better. I have a drain and a water line right next to my tent. I can see it getting a lot easier in the future with some work and bigger set up. I still love growing in dirt too. Maybe because I have to/get to spend more time with dirt girls. Or maybe because I grew up playing in the dirt. Once these girls are all done. I’ll be taking a break and gathering supplies. When I resume, I will hopefully have a walled off room for my grows and I will do both dirt and dwc again.

I’m so glad @Mote
I had faith in the advice I was given and I’m thrilled at what I’ve learned and accomplished so far. Her buds are getting bigger every day.

Day 131 for Cheese

And the outdoor autoflowers we’re brought up to the house for a spray of Captain Jack’s. I’m going to leave them up here for now so I can put them under the deck when it rains. It has been raining daily here and they are sure to get bud rot at this rate :scream:
The bugs are present, despite my SNS sprays that get washed off later in the day with the rain. The one on the right is 1/4 pounder, the left is royal cookies.

 Bug eggs

You’ve certainly started it, & bottom line is the results speak for themselves. I am very lazy myself so I can totally relate, its bitten me in the ass a few times too but trying to change my ways LOL.
The space aspect of it I think is very interesting, last grow I had almost half the height of the tent empty, I thought that was a waste so I did not scrog. Was hoping by doing minimal lst they would take care of themselves  Didn’t quite work out as I hoped but figured it was worth a shot.

That style of trimming definitely a little time consuming but not only worth the effort I feel like they’re reined in and much more manageable going into flower. I just never thought one could or even should be that aggressive in the defoliation but @GreenJewels plant looks stunning, Mind Blown!
Super Cool! :sunglasses:

OMG! She looks better every time you post. Frankly to me she looks like a giant bunch of Buds/Colas, who would have thought that from her humble beginnings?! I cant wait to see what she does once she’s had a nice slow cure. Did you take/get any clones from her?

Sorry about the bugs, That’s what freaks me out about outdoors, hopefully they wont become a real problem.
Keep on rocking !

I do have 1 clone @mote. She’s outside too.
That Captain Jack’s got rid of spider mites on my last year’s outdoor grow. I’m hoping it does the trick. I’d rather grow indoors

Thanks, she has really surprised me. I’m sure she will smoke great. She sure smells dank. She’s my first Cheese so I’m excited to try her out.

Ha! That’s Great! Its so funny she looks beautiful, like a “normal” pot plant, nothing like Mom’s initial start.

Absolutely, I’d be excited too. So Many strains its very captivating. Just looked it up on ILGM and its actually more Indica than Sativa, why did I think that it was the other way around?!
Regardless I’m excited for you, I think a lot of people are too
