Hey Carpenter, Count me in for the ride! I’m very impressed, as I am with all these threads I read. They look real promising. I’m a noob, my first grow will start within a few days or so, the seeds are in shipping as well as my light and the pots I bought from " pot for pot". I try to learn something, anything from every thread I read, and from this thread my take away is I learned what pH meter to buy and about calibration liquid. Hey good luck on your grow, I’ll be watching and hopefully learning a lot Thanks for sure

Happy 420 to you as well. love your new room. i really like that you have a water tap right in the grow room. i am in my basement so i am still doing the bucket brigade every time i need to make a batch.

@JackAndSan unfortunately I cut off that particular water supply about a month ago. I have to walk to the kitchen to fill my water, on the other side of the house. LOL! Thank you for the compliment!

@Carpenter congratulations on your papa hood’. They are looking beautiful to say the least ! I see you’re actually using storage tubs, they must be about 10 gallons or so, rm for lots of yummy soil. Still have a day or two before my eggs’ arrive:) Keep up the good work, very happy for you!

Yes, 5 gal. I use these because they are shorter than pots!
Liking the nice neat setup. Setting up my first ever grow tent this weekend! Sf1000 kit. Nutes in place and seeds en route. Stoked.

Im going to follow your lead with those containers I think. Is less depth an issue root wise?? Looks great!! Maybe you can help me with some tips as I move forward. Surely ill have hiccups along the way. Been 30 yrs so…

The 5 gallon totes work amazing. Because they are so short. If you plan on vegging your plans for more than one month, you will need a bigger tote. Maybe a 10 gallon!!

Im a newbie, been 30 yrs, didn’t have the tech and support back then. So its basically like ive never done it before. I love watching the different stages etc. Harmless hobby if you ask me!!
