Terp bags and Boveda

after cutting up my buds and putting them in the terp can I also drop in a Boveda along with sealing the bag

I use Grove bags and don’t put the packs in. Just the bud and don’t squeeze when closing.

so basically get my money back for the broveda pouches

It is important to dry the buds before putting them in the Grove bags. I dried mine for about 2 weeks at 65F, 60% humidity, until I got a stem snap, then the buds went into Grove bags. If you put them in the bags while still wet, you’ll get mold.

Yes, I should have clarified. Dry first down to 10-12% moisture, use a meter and then put in Grove bags to cure.

The Grove.bags are the way to go.:v:

This is a tricky category. Terp grove bags or Boveda packs? Or both?
I have always been a believer in boveda packs for many years. After talking with some well known local growers I have definitely changed my mind. Probably won’t be using them in the future.

2 way humidity packs. Ok.
So your product is alittle to wet. Let’s toss one in to suck alittle moisture out just after harvest. We are trying to reach that perfect % so we can nail the cure. Sounds great and probably ok.

So what if your bud is alittle to dry? (Talking 1oz) Toss in a Boveda pack thinking it will rehydrate alittle. Well what’s ‘really’ inside that pack? It’s definitely not pure water nor is it a common substance in your flower to start with.
This right here can quickly alter your flowers taste and overall quality of the bud.

Terp Grove Bags. Overall a good product but I also feel like these are not necessarily needed.
Once your product is dried proper a few turkey bags can do just as good. And is a lot cheaper.
