Temp flucuations

So i put my ac in the tent because cooling the lung room.is deff not possible. Its a outside room with horrible insulation its more of a shed than a room basically. But anyways do these temp flucuations have any impact on the plants? Right now i have my ac on auto with my fan on a steady 1 or a 2. Im still trying to figure out the controller better and dont know where to put the settings. Anybhelp would be appreciated.

I think as long as you can keep the temperature between 65 and 85 you should be fine they can stand even hotter temps but it’s hard on them. Happy growing

With a max temp of 79 i would not worry at all. Only thing i would add is if in the last part of flower or when…i would actually wanna get the temp down 15 degrees from your high so the color expressions of a particular strain come out. Low as you wanna be (imo) is 60 and a high no higher then 82, but still with only a 15 degree difference night to day. Happy growing

Yes, those constant fluctuations wreak havoc on transpiration. Try and keep the temp around 80°. You want to flatline that wave.

The temp only changes 5 degrees?

I just realized that is only 15 minute cycles on your graph.

Yeah that constant change, in even 5°, really screws with the plant.

In 15 minute cycles…agreed. i assumed that was a full day of high and low.

Anything more then a 15°f difference in high and low temperature fluctuations will greatly decrease growth rate.
We all get big swings sometimes for whatever reason but big swings consistently are not good really.
Transportation rate is really important.

I only see a difference of less than 5°f so if this is all it is then its no problem
A rotating fan will change temps a few degrees with each pass, 5°f fluctuations is nothing more then a breeze blowing every 15 mins and nothing I’ve seen or read suggest this would have any noticeable impact on growth rate.
I could be wrong if someone has that data i like to be correct

I thought you meant da8ly highs and lows. I see that much sometimes between lights on and off. My plants seem ok.
