Wanted to get somw opinions. First indoor grow. Approaching week 7 for og kush autos. are these temp , humid, vpd levels a good sweet spot through flower or should i try to adjust?Trying to keep it below 60 humidity and vpd below 1.3.
I run a lower humidity all the way through myself. Climate. When i grew big girls in 20 gallon their sweat at night kicked me past 70 at times. I had 1 mold occurance and started using preventive organic solutions. Since went to smaller plants i sit 40-45 all through flower. Seems to work well for me these years with some of the jungles i make. Just my thoughts. I think lower humidity is a plus in flower.
Yeah I’m trying to get the humidity down more and I’m just struggling because the room it’s in is my basement which I can’t really vent the exhaust out of it. But as you can see the room my tent is in is like 10 percent less which I would be happy with but I just can’t get the tent to get that low I feel like I’m kind of stuck here. I’ve been trying to think of clever ways to either exhaust it out or lower more
I would suggest running a dehumidifier in the room outside your tent. This will drive the temp up a few degrees but you will want humidity below 50, especially as you get into late flower
The lung room will affect everything. As Solid mentioned getting the basement down gets tent down. Trying to keep 25sqft as an example down when rest of the 100sqft is high is difficult. If can find a solution for the room the tent will fall in line.
Its crazy. I have 2 dehumidifiers in my basement cause we had water a year ago and ive kept two just because. Shows 47% in outside room but that dam tent floats around 60% . Maybe i should try setting them lower for a day and see how it goes. Once winter hits in new England thw humidity is going to really drop so. This grow will be done in like 6 more weeks though so.
Driving me crazy so threw in some other measures to see. I feel like i should go by what the majority says right? Anyone know any accurate compatible probes?
I would go by majority. I will say however that i bought a 10 pack of those little black ones and they fluctuate alot. I dont trust them. I do like the thermapro ones.
Increasing your exhaust fan speed can help lower humidity if the outside humidity is lower than the tent.
I have A second therm pro I’m going to put in there today to have l see if they both measure the same and if so I’m going with that. Annoying that probe isn’t being accurate
