Switching to coco next grow

Fishsh!t, tribus, recharge, great white are all similar products in terms of their purpose. There are others too, those just names you hear the most. Difference from one to other is usually in how many different strains and concentration of each. Those that have the most at highest concentration are usually going to be more expensive than the others. There is no need to have several of them, find the one that offers the most for fitting into your budget and go with that. If you currently have the recharge, I would just use it until you need to replace. Then decide on repurchase or try a different. Just make sure to consider dosing. Something that is $10 cheaper may need to be used at double the rate. Tribus for example is definitely pricey, but at 1ml/gallon once per week a small bottle will last quite a while.

Sounds like good advice db… thanks Definitely my plan is to use up what I have

There’s actually a product named “fishs**t” ? That’s hilarious

I probably shouldn’t need molasses if im using recharge or do you do both?

I bought “fish emulsion” way,way back… turned my whole grow yellow overnight  . I may have been stoned when I mixed it.

Got busted for “manufacturing” Marijuana a couple days after that. So, I gave up growing indoors after that until it became legal  I got busted with 6 clones… 1-5 is a misdemeanor, 6-49 is a felony :pensive:. 10k lesson

Actually you would. They are not alternatives to each other but rather complimentary. Molasses is sugar / carbohydrates added to help feed the microbes in recharge, voodoo juice, piranha, tribus and similar products. It helps get them off to a strong start.
At least with advanced nutrients this is the case. You use bud candy, voodoo juice and piranha at the same time.

I do both but largely because i alternate between microbe products depending on my watering day. I don’t have a lot of time sometimes so I use recharge when I can’t afford the three extra minutes to mix in molasses with my fish sh!t or tribus.

That’s good to know. I skip molasses when I use recharge because they smell exactly the same.

I don’t use carbload if applying bennies regularly. I have that same gallon of hi-brix molasses, probably 5+ years old and smelling extremely ripe in my garage. Imo more important when you are brewing teas and trying to grow organically.

I was thinking recharge had some sugars in it. Looks like I may need some. Thanks

It may. I don’t use recharge. If it does it just confirms the need to use both

I just checked Real Growers. You are right. Recharge has molasses and kelp in it.

Since the outdoor faucet is at the front of house she’d not approve that either  plus, winter is close. First freeze warning last night… ugh

Thanks for the confirmation. I knew it had a lot of things in it.

I heard 2nd hand info from manufacturer, proper way to use recharge is adding 30 minutes after feeding in non ph’d water…

That makes sense. Just like a microbe tea. Gotta let them eat the sugars before dumping into the plant. Since I just chuck it into a giant aeration bubbler of a reservoir I can’t say I’ll ever take the extra time but my girls seem happy enough.

Just watching how some people mix it, I wasn’t sure. Alot just add it to the end of the mix they’re using

Yeah I try to add microbes at the very end of whatever I do, or just throw them directly into the res. Concentrates (ph up/down/nutes) are strong enough to kill the microbes if it’s undiluted with water first.

That’s what I figured
