I am using fox farm soil and nutrients but I always seem to have a problem in Bloom.
My plants never really give me a large yield.
These are in fox farm soil and nutrients. I tested the ph but not the PPM going to start doing that now.
The light is on bloom and on 12/12
I have photographed the plants, the light just in case thats its not too good and the temp and humidity.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Is this a Grow Star light? It looks like you have more going on than light issues. Please fill out the support ticket below, it will help with the trouble shooting. How long have they been in bloom?

- What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed
- Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
- Vessels: Pots, Grow beds, Buckets, Troths
- PH of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
- PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
- Indoor or Outdoor
- Light system
- Temps; Day, Night
- Humidity; Day, Night
- Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
I looked at it on Amazon. With it on bloom only it is only doing 175 W. I would turn the veg back on. If it was the only plant in a 2x2 you might get by with 175.
Issues I see:
Light not that great, should have used veg and bloom lights throughout flowering for max light
Screen mostly unfilled. Should have vegged longer and fill up your screen before flowering
Nute issue, either not feeding enough or nute lockout due to ph issues, too much early leaf loss
Thanks
here is what I know
Fem Strawberry Cough
Soil
Pots
Ph is usually around 6-6.5 never tested runoff
Temps usually 75-80
Humidity around 40
Vent yes
What light does anyone recommend?
With lights, get the best you can afford, what would you be willing to spend? What is the size of the tent?
Tent is 5x5
I’ve got a 5x5x80 and I’m running 3 hlg 260watt quantum boards. All fox farm soul and nutes.
@dbrn32 is the light expert here he can help you.
Same I usually recommend to everyone else.
I agree light density is probably biggest reason your yields aren’t as high as you’re looking for. Even going to two of the 260 xl kits would be solid upgrade, but three would put you right where you’re suppose to be.
What type of soil?
What kind of nutrients?
Dose for the nutrients?
Hey thanks can’t seem to find HlG 260 watt quantum board kits?
What spectrum?
Go on HLG website look up 260 watt XL.
Rspec I like the idea of the XLs(extra long) heatsinks. Each board would locate nicely over the center of 2 plants.
Found it on eBay approx $300 for 3000 spectrum is that right

Those are the ones . I’d love to replace my 260s with those. In my opinion those are perfect. A very nice evenly distributed light over the plant. Picture 4 plants in a square and a light over each row(2 lights). 3 lights would be ideal but with the XL’s 2 will work nicely. @dbrn32 would you agree?
Since you’re using fox farms soil and nutes, are you following their feed schedule as well as the flush schedule? The flushing with fox farms is imperative.
@Drinkslinger I’m using the FF trio nutes I flushed right before I flipped to flower and I think I’m supposed to flush again at week 4 of flower and then again 10-14 days before harvest. Sound right?
