Strange ball-like growth instead of one of the pistils

So, my plant is in flowering stage(im not sure what week, cause first pistils appeared more than 6 weeks ago, but buds started appearing just now), and I’ve noticed this weird growth on one of the branches. At first I thought it might be a male pollen sack, but it doesnt look like it. What is that, and should I remove it or just let it be?

Also, I havent seen any simmilar growths on the plant, and it’s my first plant as well

Could be bud forming look and see if that has a hair on end of the ball besides the one on outside of ball

Nope, the ball is totally bald, no hair on it

It’s a swollen calyx. Normal growth.

Yes, they will appear at the plant’s nodes. It indicates that the plant is sexually mature.

It’s a seed. Remove it and check, but that has got the same look of an immature seed. Like it just has to ripen. Please forgive if I’m wrong. If you can, remove it, open it and post another pic.

Ok. so I monitored it for a bit, and it really is a seed! But, here’s the thing - I only found 2 of those on the whole plant, which has quite a lot of buds forming, and I haven’t found any male parts. So, how coul it have been polinated? It’s my only plant, so no chances of other male plants near, and I checked it very thoroughly, and havent found any male parts whatsoever

It’s not uncommon for a female plant to produce a few seeds without having been pollinated. I usually find a few of them each harvest. If you get more than maybe 10, then you should be looking for problems.

Oh, ok, thanks!I could find only 2, and not on the flowers themselves. Weird that there is no information on this in the web

There is now. There are actually a few posts around here (in this forum) on this topic.

Happy growing.

Uhm, so I checked today again, and found a few more, and some places also look like seeds forming, but still no signs of sacks…Can they look differently than thos ppl show, and where can they be?I alreafy checked every branch a few times, and havent seen any

Keep checking periodically for sacs but it sounds like something hermed and you’ll have a few seeds, which happens. Sounds like you probably have dodged a bullet. A few seeds here and there is nothing to worry about and is somewhat normal

Are these outdoor maybe a neighbor os growing and possibly had a male

Well, I also thought about this , but the possibility is quite low, since its not the most legal thing here…
