I started these 12/7. I had a little set back because of neive knowledge. These are northern lights, started from seeds. Are they at the right stage at the right week, or wayyy behind?

Look a little behind. Possibly overwatered. Are you directly watering the plant? It looks like water drops all over it.
I’ve made a few mistakes and just one of them now. Do you think it’s savesble? They look. More like week 5ish to me rather than week 7…?

Yes they look small and they look wet. Let them dry out for a few days.
Can they be saved? Are they autos or photos? I mean it’s never over till it’s over but if photos then you stand a better chance

They will be fine like Pinboy said they really wouldnt need much of a drink for a while, i still go by how lite the pot feels for dryness and when they’re ready for a drink even little ones. Im able to bottom water, I think this works well for my girls in soil.
These were transplanted on the 9th still have only bottom watered 1 time. Solo cups are waiting their turn

Do you do the as much as they can drink within the half hour method or? I do this on and off, but my hand tends to get heavy when watering so I’m trying the Home Depot sprayer for now. Seems to be working and I use them cheap green hydro meters to let me know if my soil is just moist or wet, moist good… dry or wet …bad. Where did the OP get his Northern Lights from?

Let her go. She just might surprise you. I had one this last run do that and she exploded. I was ready to pluck her. Lesson learned don’t ever give up until they are dead dead. Imminent was an auto too. It
stayed like the first picture for almost a month and then wham she passed the other with ease. Turned out to be the bigger plant! Stick with it. She hasn’t given up so you can’t either. Like they said above let her hit a dry cycle. Less is more. Good luck bro🤙🏻

I grow a lot of Northern Lights. Just finished a grow of around 1.25 lbs. Ill be honest here and say it looks like a three week old plant. But it looks perfectly healthy and if I didn’t know it was older I would not look for any issues. By week 5 I am usually flipping to 12/12 and starting flowering. I don’t see any need to pull them and start over. But you need to figure out what is slowing them down. Are your temperatures low? Soil too wet? (And btw its a really bad idea to get the plant wet like we see. Don’t spray the leaves with water. If you have to do a foliar spray for bugs or feeding then do it right before lights go off) Fill out this support ticket and we can determine what needs to be corrected. I am pretty sure we can kickstart that girl into overdrive.

It’s ok to spray the leaves (foliar spray) if the area is well ventilated, meaning if they dry up within the half hour or so. The lighting isn’t usually bright enough at this stage to do any damage. I find it when your pest controlling with Neem or similar is when the damage happens, buy when foliar spraying with a light kelp, Epsom salt, cal mag, etc type sprays … your safe.

Thank you I started a couple more seeds, as well. I just spray the new seedlings with fresh spring water for now? Should I give this girl some nutes?

No, they don’t need nutes for a couple weeks from popping. Your soil, (if your using potting soil) should have enough to carry them for a bit. The roots are barely being established so be patient. This is how tall they can get with no feeding and just using the nutrients in the soil.

Marijuana plant live to save themselves. It will recover if you fix the problems.
Not a comment about super powers, just staying alive. I grow short plants.
I have a 6-inch male pre-pollen release, in my clone tent.
Using big pots on little plants locks your garden space up quickly.
Seedlings do well in solo cups and the to dirt.
Pulling her to give her different would be the last resort if your dirt was bad.
I would start some solo cups. I frequently seed 2 or 3 per cup (great seed stash, now, summer 22).
Only the strong survive. If they survive me, they are good, usually.
Occassionally, they require splitting.

Auto seeds can also be fem so you know. It’s auto/photo-period & regular seeds/fem seeds.

I purchased seeds through ilgm. It is a dem. But I don’t believe I purchased the auto.
I usually have a hard time learning new things. I can be a bit slower than the normal person is. You guys have all been great here, and I really appreciate it. I’m excited for the ending results.
Also, I have started one seedling all ready in solo cup, it took about 4 days to start a root. Should I put in the grow tent now? Or leave it out in normal lighting and humidity?

I am in the same canoe, except I forget the important things, these days.
If you have a seed germinated with an inch tail, it needs dirt.
A seedling in dirt, can stay in the solo cup until you are ready for her to get a bigger home.
A month prevents shocking too bad.
Tent life could be any combination, disregarding PHOTO/AUTO considerations.
I grow my seedlings in my tents (flower, veg, or clone), SPACE and size makes the grade.
Each tent has a different cycle, but that’s life.
As she grows, take the time to read ALL forum postings and catagorize your learning, if you want the black belt. I want a PHD (Pretty High David).

Good question, depends on what’s going on in your tent. Are you in a middle of a grow or will these seedlings be the beginning of the gro in that tent? What lights are you using and how/what are you using to control the humidity in your tent?
I had 4 plants in solo cups not sure if I wanted them because the seed company I got them from was suspect. I just had them by the rear sliding door of my house and they grew near 12 inches. It was warm and humid conditions at the time so that aided in their survival. My point is if the conditions are right you can have them anywhere.
There’s a lot of different ways to grow this plant so the advices your gonna get can and will be confusing at times. After a couple years of hit and misses you’ll start to understand this some more. I just saw it on YouTube today on my lunch, Ed Rosenthal original editor of High Times says, “You can’t get addicted to smoking marihuana, but you can get addicted to growing it”.
