I truly appreciate your efforts to answer in French, but I have to let you know… :
“Why thank you” doesn’t translate in French. There’s no equivalent expression.
But you get an A + for your efforts!
I used to converse with a Polish buddy in Ottawa when we worked together. Man I love Google Translate!
Funny story. My boss warned me about using Google Translate, said one of his Anglophone buddies sent a message to his boss, and it translated to “f*ck her with cream”!! But I think it’s come a long way since then, if not, I tried! It’s just the English in me reconciling with the French over the Battle of the Plains of Abraham
! It’s the
thing to do these days!
What about “Why thank you?”
Have some long legged ladies there Spud Mine in the autopots doing the same!!
Me also. Just evicted two tent dwellers (future flowers). Male flowers abundantly appearing. Full blown males. Hope yours do better.
DDD, all mine are clones, so no males there! These are in 2 gallon pots, not autopots @Bentstick. Still have to clean that out from last run of 3, but I have until October before the next cuttings are rooted and put in the autopots.
I just clipped 3 stalk shoots for cloning.
Reveged lady donating was Maui Wowie seedling 11/2023
Also just received some BigFoot Mycorrhiza powder.
Best growing or cloning, to us all!
Just gorgeous!
Love how tall they are… mine are always flat and wide.
Love seeing the variety of training like this!
Well done!!!
Totally untrained, was hoping to give them away and let new owner do their thing. So left to grow wild!
Beautiful day here again…it’s like the 20th day in a row with temps above 30C. Little hazy from the smoke, but Mt Baker still stands out. As long as it doesn’t go BOOM like Mount Saint Helens did in 1980! That actually woke me up that morning!
Outside plants doing well, fortunately my camo wall and the rest of my trees block the neighbours’ view.
From the left side, the Sleepy Joe runt of the litter.
Next to her, the big SJ clone.
Then comes the polyploid Sleepy Joe.
And finally the Mighty Quin CBD plant in all her glory. Love how she stretches out and prays,
Still totally untrained, still too damn hot outside to do much more than water them every morning and pluck a few yellowing leaves off.
About twice per week I fill up that white bucket with Mega Crop nutes, it lasts 2 days. Then they get 3 days of hose water before I get around to adding a small tablespoon of the MC before adding the water for their next feed. If I had my together more, I’d do a feed-feed-water cycle rather than feed-feed-water-water-water cycle. Maybe once they go into flower mode and I start adding the PK Booster to the mix…next month!
Stay safe, stoned and hydrated! Grow on, Garth!
Well, got a fair bit done over the last couple! Well, not much really, but I am retired and can drag stuff out if I want to! Anyways, cleaned out the Clone King, all the disks and nozzles and tub. Swept out the cellar area, taped the Tyvek paper to the cardboard walls, replaced the cardboard that the plants sit on and a new cardboard runway for my knees as I crawl under the sewer pipe to get there!
And I went out and tied up the polyploid. She is a weird one, a clone from a seed, and she has 2 main branches. One is thinner, but the leaves are thinner and wispier too, and more lime green than the other branch. Here’s the base.
Here she is just after I spread the 2 branches apart. You can see the right side looks thinner, but has more nodes (almost 2X) as the left, but the left’s are actually forming branches.
Here is the left side. I’m going to thin a lot of these small branches out next week, great clone material.
And the right half, more clones!
So everything is ready for me to take some cuttings, probably Sunday, no family plans that day, have grandson most of the week
Happy growing!
Full days work Brother and digging the clones
Thanks OG. That polyploid is just weird, it’s like she’s expressing 2 different phenotypes at the same time. The darker branch has normal looking leaves (albeit a bit Sativa looking) while the lighter branch has even thinner leaves! And the node spacing is different between the 2 branches, with the darker branch forming little branches like you’d expect, while the lime side are sprouting out thinner wispier branches!
A Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde plant…
Oh yeah, forgot to mention my good score last week! Went out with Sheba for a walk, it was Garbage Day. Past the neighbours a block away, they’ve just redone their garden border with boxwoods. Well, they had a stack of 1 gallon pots out for recycling! Quickly grabbed those, went home and put them by my fence, then restarted my dog walk. Counted them last night, 68 of them! And 2 2 gallon pots which I already transplanted my strawberry plants into!
And I’ve been looking on FB and CL for cheap pots to replace the ones I gave away with the clones (which I was supposed to get back but didn’t), and then to have these just appear! It’s a sign I tell ya, Mother Nature DOES want me to clone the crap out of these and quick-flip a mass of them in the cellar!
My friend has 4-gallon buckets, in excess, sometimes.
Check out your local&friendly Exterminator-people, may have a similar product-problem.
Hell yeah
The odd or could be non symmetrical node spacing has always thrown off my training plan and just super crop when one gets scraggly higher than the others
I’m good now, @DEEPDIVERDAVE wit these 68! I had a dozen or so left from last time I bought a bunch, think they were a dime a piece for the 1 gallon, 25 cents for 2 gallon pots and 50 cents for 3 gallon pots. I like the 1 gallon for transplanting clones into, tall enough to get the long roots buried and still have space to grow in them for a few more weeks.
In the cellar this fall I will keep all but 4 (destined for the autopots in the tent) in these 1 gallon and cram them all under my little light in the cellar. Might end up being 10, could be 20 or 25, all depends on how many cutting I take and how many survive! But once transplanted in those 1 gallons, they will stay in those (ya, means watering every day, but that’s ok!). Maybe a 3 week veg in those then flip.
I also have numerous 5 gallon pails too, some with holes drilled, and 4 or 5 without. Have my tomato plants in those (ones with holes)!
1-gal plastic (clear) water bottles work for me.
We drink the water at over a gallon a day, so we have plenty.
me too.
My weed dirt may be too hot for the tomato youngsters.
They are all struggling with deformity.
Flowers starting to appear.
Harvested 4-cherry tomatoes (green, got them before the rabbits.)
Yeah, my clones usually have staggered branching, rarely do they have the branches paired like from a seedling. But this is like conjoined twins joined at the hip, only one being a blond and the other a redhead!
So yesterday I did get off my butt and take some clones off the outside ladies. But only from the Sleepy Joe plants, none from the Mighty Quin CBD plant.
And you can see the cleaned up cellar area. The Tyvek has been more secured to the walls so it doesn’t flap around when I swing the cardboard door open. And fresh cardboard (nice thick Amazon boxes!) underneath for when I crawl in there on my knees. Much more comfy!
I think there are 22 cuttings in there. I know not all of them will make it. Several I only kept because they were from lower branches that were cut right off, figured I have the holes for them, may as well dip them too!
The ones with red plugs are from the 2 Sleepy Joes on the left, the runt and the big one. The ones in blue plugs are from the left, dark green, more normal looking branch of the polyploid, and the black plugs are from the wispy right light-green branch.
Once I see what takes, 4 will get the autopot treatment in the tent under the big light, the rest will be confined to the cellar in 1 gallon pots and flipped after a short veg period. Turn 'em and burn 'em!
@MartyMarajuanaseed he’s my thread if you want to see what Promix does with very little maintenance/care/concern.
Grow on, folks!
