Congrats! I’ll be following this one. I really need some understanding before I’m willing to invest for indoor. The several grows a year is the biggest draw. That and node spacing.

I try to keep a good record for everyone to use if they like and yes this is 5th or 6th grow of this year

I’m watching also, I’ve got a Cheesus seed and a Casey Jones seed waiting to be germed! I really hope they do well for you dude! I have complete faith in you.

Veg for one month then flip the switch?

Votes will help me figure out my plan of attack
So lets have the vote friends

With these strains I’d definitely do a 2 month veg for soil. Even when I grow them in DWC I’ll probably let them veg at least 6 weeks. Just my opinion though, but I like em big lol. Plus you’ll be able to take good clones if you desire!

It depends on the strain genetics and feeding schedules, but my local hydro store owner told me in the very beginning when I was JUST switching from soil to hydro that, “if the plants roots are already formed and it’s any bigger than 12-18” that it won’t take well to the transplant process, only because those roots will actually die from so much oxygen from the air stone/air pump".

I said f it and I tried anyway lol. He was right! So I have figured out a good way to know when to transplant. For me at least. But when a plant has lost its cotyledons (water leaves, baby leaves, whatever you choose to call them lol) I give her a tiny bit of water from a DWC bucket that’s in veg (I will literally open a net pot from a plant that’s in veg, because I know she’s being fed the same nutes that my girl in a cup would now want. Some people wouldn’t ever consider this, but I don’t see why not?).

Anyway, once she’s lost her baby leaves and is at the height I like (because remember you need her to sit pretty in a 6" net pot with hydroton all around!), then I’ll transplant into DWC. They love it while they’re young! From my experience. Hope this helps lol
