Spots on fan leaves

I have 12 plants. Four of them are Bruce Banner. They are all 5 weeks old from seed today. Two of the Bruce Banner plants have large fan leaves that look like in the picture. The smaller leaves are fine. The soil is the same for all 12 plants. Anyone know why 2 of 12 plants are like this? The other 10 plants are normal.

Thanks,
Larry

Thanks, stoner!

Can you add pictures in white light of the whole plant or plants? Be sure to tell us specifics of your grow: if in soil please tell us WHAT soil. Are you using digital PH and TDS meters? What EXACTLY are the lights you are using etc. We need this information to better help you.

Ive seen it but cant quite remember the diagnosis. Lets get some more eyes.

Help me out. Who had this?

Looks like calcium or boron deficiency. Or overspray?

OK, let me be clear, it is tobacco mosaic virus, there is no cure or treatment for it and it is contagious to your other plants, treatment is to remove and destroy the affected plants and hope they didn’t infect your other plants already.

Can you elaborate on this more?

I see no twisted growth. Only spots.

Pictures would of the affected plant would help more if you could. OP

Hellraiser not saying i doubt ur diagnosis man nor ur skills. I actually typed ur name in the tag bomb until i saw ur other reply.

Just tryna make sure before he nukes his grow op. First option should never be ā€˜toss it’. If anything isolate it and get more definite facts before culling

There’s a little twisting going on in the pic of the leaf in the middle finger and the finger just to the right of it, not much but a little and the mosaic pattern is quite unique, not something normally seen from a deficiency, hope I’m wrong or maybe I need to look on a bigger screen.

Yeah, let’s not destroy any plants yet. even if TMV, some of my friends who had it or thought they had it and it looked similar to the leaf pic posted, and they just kept growing the plants out and they did not affect other plants.

I’ve separated the plants for now. Here are the pictures of the plants. In the third picture the leaves are just starting to brown on the edges.

Thanks Everyone

This is magnesium

The rest scare me. I was thinkin maybe nute burn. But the cuppage of ur leaves… @imSICKkid do u recognize this?

What soil is he in? To me it just looks like the plant is getting roasted in hot soil.

The soil is a hot soil recipe I have been using for 3 years with no problems. All the plants with this issue are the same strain. I gave them some Epsom salts last watering and they are looking better. I’ve never used Calmag, should I be using it?

This is the soil recipe I have been using

This Recipe is for 8 cubic feet of promix 60 Gallons.
2 36lb 2 CU Feet Compressed + 10 Gallons. 60 Gallons Total
After Mixing all Ingredients: About 70 Gallons, 23 3 Gallon Pots

2 Bails all purpose Promix + 10 Gallons (60 Gallons Total)
4 Bags Perlite 32 Quarts 8 gallons
12 C Bone Meal
4 C Blood Meal
2 C Epsom Salts
6 C Garden Lime
16 Oz Mycorrhizae (optional but helps a lot)
4 C Alaska Fish Fertilizer (mix with water)
16 Gal Water PH to 6.0
Mix and Mix and Mix again for 2 weeks before using

Thank you

Sounds like my kind of grow! I made very similar soil. Calmag is awesome but ur so organic I wouldn’t add chems. Epson salts add magnesium. U need a calcium supplement. @Budbrother @Myfriendis410 @Covertgrower @zsparks87 @Skydiver

Organic gurus. What calcium suppls do u use

gypsum and dolomitic lime would add calcium to soil.

I used GH calimagic. Haven’t found a substitute yet, and this bottle was given to me. So I’m not complaining about the price.
