Spiderfarm any good?

Thanks a lot man, completely understand where u r coming from with the split tent, on first grow plan to only do autos, my state has the 5 plant rule so Im thinking 4 in 4x4 should give me plenty room for the girls and all my stuff. In a 27 27 now little tight, o yeah I have 3 in there now need to get them out lol but when I do just want to make sure got enough light, thanks again best of luck

Thanks. And good luck to you! 4 Plant rule here. But much better than a zero plant rule! :upside_down_face: :+1: :upside_down_face:

It is not about being an intellectual. It is not about whether your LED is better than sSF The originaal poster posed the wustion; Is SF any good. the answer is Yes.

No one asked if there was anyhting better and if you read the topic, I see many happt SF growers.

I actually am building one of my own LED with compnonets that rival Spectrum King. Let me tell you; It is not easy to build an LED with high grade components and keep the price down unless you can order big bulk boxes to bring the cost down.

My cost to build 10-12 LED 4’x4’ was 450-500 after tkaing advantage of as much bulk buying as I could afford. I was given a 5000 dollar budget and was only capable of building 10 LED lamps and stay on budget. Anyway; I have a clue. You have a clue. It is just that this topic is about whether we like SF. I do. I know without a doubt I would love HLG but, I haven’t got the time or room to test one yet. I cannot wait and then we can match specs…LOL; Intellectually.

Peace ny brother

Loveit. I love 5g bubblers.

First time grower I bought the spider farm 27,27,63 kit , the 1 sf-1000 sprouted and all 3 of this and took them 2-3 weeks very impressed and after looking at other people and reading don’t see the point of paying $ for HLG when i just have a few plants 3-4 and already have the sf-1000 will upgrade tent to 4x4 and looking at the sf-2000, will be watching thread to learn more

I have the same kit and it’s been working great… No complaints here

Yeah I like the spider farm but it’s now back at 300, after discount 250 ish, little high but a question for more experience people. I have the sf-100 and a viparspec xs1500 the light that come out looks completely different, the spider farm not that bright, the other light way brighter only 50 watts different

Which sf do you have there’s a sf1000d and a sf1000 either way it’s 50% more powerful so I think that is going to be the difference. Then if it’s the d model it has different leds

Here’s where they ended up 2 days before harvest, spent their entire adult lives under my Spider Farmer SF-2000.

Hey I followed ur thread, that is in a 2x4 right? So have a 4x4 looking to light up at least half, 2x4, been going back and forth between a few lighting options, HLG has a sale upcoming, in no rush to buy a light now, in middle of first grow, thanks

And @MeEasy its the sf-1000 but has the dimmer on it, not knocking it all, I think it’s doing a great job, was just wondering about the brightness compared to my other

I’m sure it’s the additional 50w doesn’t sound like much but it’s 50% difference

You won’t regret it spider farmer lights are great producers as long as you don’t ask them to do more than they’re designed for… congratulations :star_struck:
