Hey guys hoping there is so answers for me. Ruby is GDP photo in ffof. She is 10 weeks since flip. I cooled her night time down to 63 and softened her daylight hours from 11 last week to 10 this week. Also raises her light to the top of the tent to simulate fall hoping to get her to harvest before I have to leave for a month. Leaving the 27th. Is there anything else I can do to speed it up as I will need dry time? To cure it will be in Grove bags.
Are these pictures of sugar leaves or flower calyx? Sugar leaves mature much faster than flower. Be sure to take your samples from flower.
Plant looks about ready though. You could take it down any time.
I think the second picture was a sugar leaf that got in the frame but the rest of them are of the flower
Chop her now and you’ll be smoking by the 27th. She’s done
@Bluntsmoke
I really Believe fully in a one-month cure. And since I will be gone for exactly one month it is perfect. Only had one other harvest and it was the mother to this plant. And she was 20% Amber when I chopped. And she smokes so smooth and it is such a chill body buzz that I want to repeat it if possible. And I did not touch it in the cure bags for one month. That’s why I was wondering if there’s any way to speed up the Amber process. I would imagine if I chop now it would just be a speedier buzz.
Me too but that only pertains to when it’s starts becoming better tasting. I have jars curing but I’m also dipping in them for smoke
I’ve never heard of anyway to speed up Trichomes changing to more amber. But I did find this on the forum you can check it out.
Search for Trichome color time frame there are some ideas on speeding up the process.
