Something is the matter with my leaves

First preheat oven to 350 and sprinkle some pecans approx a cup, depending on how much you like nuts, on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Put in the oven for like 2 mins with a tablespoon of butter, then take out and get spatula and mix the pecans into the melted butter, salt the nuts at this point if you want salt on them. I liike the salt myself. then roast them in oven for approx 6 mins, stirring once at least. Then take them out and let them cool while you’re making the rest of the cookie dough. If they are whole pecans chop them into manageable pieces when you are ready to use them, not while they are hot

So, I add a tbs butter and leave out about 3/4 cup of oatmeal to make up for the choc chips, I like a lot of stuff im my cookie so you can cut that down to a cup of choc chips and 1/2 cup of pecans, but my way is superb. If they are super thick you might want to shape them into something thinner as the don’t really sink down into a flat cookie
Enjoy!
There is a lot of butter in here, it doesn’t all have to be the weed butter, up to you

Thank you. Clara is of course smaller than Sprout, she is 2.5 months younger. I can put her in my other tent, I have light, but I was really set on a perpetual grow. Also my first grow here I had nothing to start with, and now I have most of the equipment and nutes and ph stuff which is really why they got so sick. I definitely will think about this today, maybe I will do that, I was almost wondering how Clara was gonna fit in there with Sprout anyway. As far as the netting, I’m kinda on the fence about that, once I net them I can’t move them around anymore and I’m doing that now, just in case as I don’t have a par meter. But I know the net will help support them and there is a time limit on netting them up they have to still be bendy. You are probably right, you always are. I also kinda think Clara will be more productive than Sprout, although I don’t know why, It’s just a feeling I have.

I’m not trying to harp on this, but the tent and the plant were dropped on me suddenly when I had no real or any at all knowledge of how to grow this plant at all. I had it for a couple of weeks before I found this site. If I had known about the meters and solutions and ph and other variables I could probably have gotten them resolved at the same time, when I got the tent, but not later one thing at a time. I have no problem remembering to water, at first I was overwatering not understanding it was so harmful. Really not totally stupid, I’ll learn pretty fast, we’ll see. You are an excellent teacher, after all.

@Jaydawg6528 @HappyHydroGrower @CalamityJane @patchman @Covertgrower @Hellraiser @Budz @yoshi @kaptain3d @Kinglouida13th This is Clara in her old tent, right before I moved her. I hadn’t even opened it since I put her in the new tent Friday morning.

This is Clara today, I just checked to see how wet she probably was, but she was already dry, so she got plain water, ph’d first to 6.5.

Wow. it was only 2 days, her leaves are getting so big, but I can’t wait to open Sprout and compare, I think Sprout shouldn’t have really grown too much in the dark like that but we’ll see when I turn her lights on at 9pm. I think they look odd in the colored light. I’m astounded, you can tell differences better when you aren’t looking at them every 20 mins or 2 hrs or whatever. Thank You, abouttime

This pic is from March 23 I think, I had planned on flipping them in a week at that time. What I didn’t know about weed was everything except how to consume massive amounts. Seriously don’t think anything would be there to harvest if I didn’t come across this amazing site. It’s 2 months since then and wow what a difference. I almost had forgot. Patch had said go back and look and I finally did, and damn, thank you everybody who has ever said anything to me at all. But Most Especially Abouttime. What is your first name???

So, the lights went on (I have a new digital timer) at 8pm, thought I set it for 9-9, I won’t be here at 8am so hopefully if the timer is afu then 1/2 hr extra light won’t mess her up. I didn’t expect her to grow, but she did and she’s got some strange coloring kind of, once again, I am color blind and some colors aren’t the same for me as someone who is not, so I don’t know if they’re maybe overfertilized, or it’s just supposed to be that way, or here’s some pics

I also have a new light (for me, new) that has a flower switch and that’s on it could be like optical illusion or something, unless it isn’t.
Plus I want to net her but if I have to really prune her up in a couple weeks I wouldn’t be able to get her out of it, I don’t think

I had my daughter put one of the lights I got from Luis in the tent with the other light too. But she’s been in the dark since Friday Morning. She did all that in the dark. but that new growth to me looks yellow in the middle, I don’t think that’s the light.
But thank you very much!

I’m just finishing up dealing with a “reaching ~ praying” issue, which, after quite a bit of searching, here and elsewhere, I found out that it is caused by too much light.

After learning this my plants are looking “normal” again except when they are out in the sunlight getting hardened off prior to going outdoors for good.

One explanation that I came across made sense. By reaching up they are trying to lessen the surface that’s sucking up the light. It’s kinda like a solar panel standing up on its side instead of having it’s flat surface fully exposed to the sun…,

It’s just transitioning…she’s been wanting to for awhile!!
You can set up the net…you can easily prune in place…we all do!
Anyway, you have 21 days to worry about that till its time to prune…just let her do her thng… yes, they grow fast when treated right.
Keep up the good work!!

Thank you so very much. What is your first name? I’m kinda tired of typing abouttime, you helped me so much I should know that.
Did you see the difference you made for me? It’s absolutely incredible I would not identify those plants if I only saw the before, I never would have even believed the after. And you know who did that for me, a total stranger? YOU! Thank you so much. I know by now you are probably getting sick of me thanking you all the time, but what can I say? I’m polite

This morning before lights out I turned off the purple light

Thanks so much, I totally agree. It was the help I received here. Now they have a good chance. Thanks to @abouttime

The new growth will always be slightly lighter than the rest,it’s brand new fresh green foliage, that takes a little time to catch up, so not uncommon to be SLIGHTLY limeish/yellow!!

Flatlander-
You are correct. The leaves will do whatever they can not to get burnt.
So they reach up, or down, taco up, all to lessen that surface area like you said. The ILGM grow guide discusses this too. That’s why I always do the hand test when I adjust light height. A plant can tell you a lot if you know their language. Have a great day! Peace…
