Something going on with my outdoor grow

Would be nice to have some numbers, runoff, slurry, something to see where we’re at, so we know how to get to where we wanna be!

Yeah, I know. Going to pull the numbers tonight and report back.

I did back down the N on one feed because one of the plants was showing signs N tox. Last feed was at normal feed level.

Curious on the run off PH Growmie, a little soon to see this kind of fade. Does seem a little nitrogen hungry :love_you_gesture: appreciate the shout out @Covertgrower

Using Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect so I thought I didn’t need to worry about that but still learning every day.

PH perfect allows nutes to uptake at a broader ph range, outside that range will still cause lockout.

So heres my opinion. Youre locking out. You dont have the needed sunlight for your plants to process the amendments youre giving them. Sorta like a fat kid who eats candy bars all day and doesnt exercise. If you plant doesnt have the energy, its going to process a heck of a lot slower than one who has plenty of sunlight and is able to use that energy to absorb nutrients. In the indoor world, the more light you give your plant, the more ya gotta feed and water.

Thanks for everyone’s feedback. The plants at location 2 which have full full sun and doing pretty well. So what you’re saying makes sense.

I’ll be watering the morning and will get some readings.

My first experience with loc out i was using Advanced Nutrients also. Not understanding enough i was over feeding they looked ok but not vibrant i flushed them all with water to bring the Nutrients down. I think that if im hungry they should be 2. Im back with Advanced its just trying to fine tune. I like that it Ph corrects but loke mentioned it still can go haywire. Good luck Growmie

My indoor grow went well (thanks to @Lostgirl ’s guidance). I admit I have not been as diligent with the outdoor grows I have going. I have 2 locations and honestly it’s a pita. My location here at the house does not have near as much sun as the other. The other location looks better and is far ahead in flower right now. So I know the light level is having an impact.

I’m making up the water now and will flush and get reading to see where they stand.

Ok, yep. PH is low - 5.6 / ppm 410

Hate seeing that Growmie and with it that low would recommend a reset flush, PPMs about 1/2 of what they should be and will get down around zero after the flush. Follow up with a full strength feeding once the flush PH is back in range Brother :love_you_gesture:

@OGIncognito So continue to flush with the 6.5ph water (no matter how much water it takes) until the runoff ph is 6.5?

Did somebody page me

With the PH that low I would go in at the top of the range 6.8 or 7.0. Once the run off is around 6.4 it’s safe too stop and give a full feeding at 6.8 :love_you_gesture:

Can I adjust ph with advanced nutrients

Yes, can’t see why not
. I’m not familiar with this line but think their claim is it’s not needed but in your case the medium is not helping with buffering the PH. I don’t think the AN alone can give you a balanced PH. I think @Lostgirl uses AN??:love_you_gesture:

She does. That’s who I learned from. My indoor grow was good using it. Never adjusted the ph ones when I started AN.

So this is a new problem for me.

I’ve been flushing and flushing here. Just got to 6.1 :skull_and_crossbones:
