Small seedlings, again, start over, or keep waiting?

Chlorine will dissipate with time. I usually have eight gallons of water in old milk jugs that sit out days before I use them for the humidifier or as feed water for the plants.

I start doing it! Its a good way do avoid Chlorine, thanks ! Anyway im using the humisifier outsde the tent with a “level 2 foggy” hope it works… Seedling keep small… :confused:

Wazzup community! Little but some progress with those babies…

As my first time with photos, Im not totally sure if should I start thinking about transplant them to a bigger pot, the leaves are getting near the edges of the pots, but its coco and perlit, they need some more feed and room (I´ve start feeding with biobizz).

Should I wait 1 or 2 more weeks? Maybe increase the light power?

Thank you all!

You’re telling me, here in the south it’s 110 out today. My room hovers at 81 in the tent, but 50% RH.

Where are you at in light height now? The ones on the left look good to transplant, I get some mykos first and add it to the coco during transplant. Helps root growth. What light are you using? Some off brands claim 200 watts but in reality, it’s way less.

To be honest, my led board is fixed in top of the tent (150 w quantum lm301h) and it is set to 80w, and arround 38 inches far from cannopy. It gives arround 200 ppfd now (photone and tent buddy app). Im not sure what mykos is, I believe its another name over here. Ill search out!

Im using a “smart energy meter” wheres the led is pluged in, it shows me the"exaclty wattage", I wanted the baby to get taller and downed to 60 w past week, but now its arroun 80 w. This medium is coco, no feed the look a bit week and late :confused:

Thats alittle high, For young crops, approximately 6-12 inches is a sensible height to begin since they need a higher intensity of light. As they mature from vegetative through flowering, it’s wise to double this distance to around 12-16 inches.

Humm, is there any difference if instead of down the led near the plants I dimmer up the led wattage (potency)? Isnt the PPFD the main factor? Im a bit afraid to “overlight” them u know?

miserable out, we had record temps all month long. How’d the move go?

photone is good at getting a basic reading, but remember it’s just an app, it’s not 100% accurate. I use it sometimes, but let the plants tell you. Lower it down to around 24", see how the plant reacts. I keep a log of everthing I do so I can reference back if issues arise. If it were my plants, I’d go up in intensity alittle, lower the light and see how they respond. If you see leaves yellowing out, back off the intensity alittle, then re-evaluate. LED’s are pretty forgiving.

Getting there :joy::love_you_gesture:

Ohh I see…Ill do that for sure, I just need that hangers to do this. Ill buy some and take some notes, maybe I can fast the process put leds closer! nice advice

The plants will tell you for sure. I use the ratching type of hangers, lets me go up and down easily.

One more question, is is there “lack of light” they baby would be taller? or not a rule!? @Highwayman420

Typically they will “stretch” towards the light. Yours aren’t doing that but 38” is still high. Maybe dial it down just a hair and lower to 24”. If they handle that well, adjust light back up and leave the height as is.
