I thought I was getting a handle on things. Apparently not.
I started a new seedling (3 of them sprouted) they were growing good every day getting a little bigger. They were in a humidity dome under a plurple light. It was at around 4 to 450 par. The clones I had put were having a hard time will that much light in the humidity dome. I put them in the 2x2 where they were in a spot only getting about 4 to 450 par. The next day I flipped my plant and they were the only ones in the 2x2. I thought maybe the 4 to 450 was too much because I’m sure there’s a difference between the mars and the purple. So I turned it down to like 150 to 200. It looked as of they were starting to stretch. So I turned up a little to just under 350. That was Wednesday night they moved in the tent. Thursday they got it all to their selfs. And today is Monday morning. My dudes haven’t grown an inch. They’re they same size they were Thursday morning. What is going on!!! Is it because I keep changing the light they can’t adjust?
Have you watered the seedlings at all? I would give approximately 1-2 shot glass sizes of water for each and water around the inside of the cup edge. Mist the clear dome and put it back on. Removed daily and re-mist and give a shot glass of water every 3rd day or so. Lighting PPFD of 300 will work
Most of the work is underground right now. Once they feel comfy in the roots to feed foliage they will explode. Dont overwater but dont stress it super hard. True overwater is constant wet. They will come along. Just my thoughts. Happy growing.
@OGIncognito yes. I water every day every other day. Starts with like 5ml of water run gave 7. Now I give about 10ml of water. Every day or every other.
I’m using the photone app. I checked it against the spec sheet for the mars hydro. Looks like it runs a couple (200) hundred of from what their chart shows.
Does anyone have a decently priced light meter off Amazon???
Every day is too frequent Growmie, very easy to dampen off the tiny tap root off. The coco helps a lot with drainage. I would go every 3rd day and keep a humidity dome on until the leaves touch the sides
They stayed stunted for two weeks.
Recently started growing again. I was curious what these bumps are?
Also you can see the leaves are all different sizes is that because theyr growing them out still or just different pheno types?
It’s time to transplant them.
Correct.
@midwest I’m aware of the transplant thanks on my list for today. I gave them a day or two longer because they were stunted for two weeks and they were growing and I didn’t want to disturb them and also there’s not a lot of roots showing from the bottom. As I stated I had a problem but now everything is back on track
I always transplant out if solo cups when the leaves start protruding past the cup
@TLC man that case is awesome did it come in that case or did you have to buy it seperate? Im still rocking the cardboard box lol. Also need to find a wand extension for the sensor yet but great meter for the price
