Does anyone know the time for super skunk from sprout to harvest?
I am at 55 days with small buds and pistils.
Hello,
Try this article
How long ago did you switch them to 12/12?
They generally need 8 weeks of flowering. Sounds like yours have just started!
well from sprout to harvest depends on how big of plant you want to end up with.go 18-6 until it has grown a good root system. then from there you can bud it when ever you want.
They are autos.
I am also reading about harvesting. Some talk about soaking or rinsing before drying. How do you guys harvest your crop?
@Bluto how long have they been flowering?
It would have been helpful to include that they were autos in your first post!
Sorry.
I planted them 56 days ago and they started with flowers about 2 weeks ago. It looks to me that they are stunted. Only 9 in tall. I made a few mistakes along the way. I now control the ph in and out and have fox farms nutrients which I feed twice a week. They are in pots and I flushed with water last week when I noticed yellowing. By the way…does fox farms recommend a flush according to their schedule three times during the growing cycle?
Yes I believe they do @Bluto
Here is the schedule
The final flush before harvest can also just be a couple of waterings without nutrients.
You should always water/ feed to runoff to prevent nutrient lockout as well.
Adjust the pH of nutrient mix after nutrients are added!
If you had problems along the way you’re probably answering your own questions.
Auto’s are looked upon as the easiest to grow due to programmed life expectancy. What they don’t tell you is that if you do anything to disrupt it, you’re pretty much screwed. When you hear people refer to them as low yielding this is what they mean. The right grower with the right pheno can certainly produce nice yield with them. But they aren’t stunting their plants at any point either. Sometimes even a good grower can run into a few that won’t really get that big.
It happens with photo plants too, you’re just able to manage it better by extending the veg cycle. Not the end of the world either way. You’re already learning and advancing your growing techniques.
