Absolutely beautiful, first picture looks like blue purple light curious mind what kind.
To long! That’s why I’m changing up my growing style. My needs changed. I used to not need quick turn around times so I would veg for a long time and grow big plants.
I now need quick turn around times so I’m growing more of a sea of green style
My lighting system was three cheap viparspectrass that I had mounted to a light mover
I can’t remember how long ivegged for exactly. I harvested that thing in Feb or Mar of '18
Here’s the journal
There are several different grows in this journal but the top of the thread is nothing but this plant
do you know the veg time off the top your head?
Thanks @TDubWilly I have always thought those were pretty decent lights I have used them for veg and been pleased.
I’ve been using a Vip TC 1200 in conjunction with some HLGs, and the Vip does really well (especially in veg). I feel some of the higher quality, old technology purple lights get a bad name from the garbage blurple carousel you find on Amazon.
And yeah @TDubWilly that thing was a monster!
Gorgeous SCROG, dude.
I agree @Jza444 not all blues and purples are bad lights.
wow wow wow. so that’s one plant in the 4x4? what’s your medium and nute regimen? lights?
thanks for joining this thread
Very nice @Stonedrus I love it if you don’t mind me asking what kind of Lights . Beautiful plant.
in a 4x8 space i have mixed hodgepodge of lights (2 VIPARSPECTRA 1200, 2 VIPARSPECTRA 600, 1VIPARSPECTRA 350, “3 or 4 cheap led 1200-1500” as needed, a 42 watt led strip in each corner, and a 50 watt uv spectrum led to boost resin production. At some point I may clean it up but for now it produces good density without the too much heat
I won’t know for another 4 weeks or so. But I’m hoping my beast gets to 1 lb or more. She is pretty dense with flowers all over.
I don’t think I’ve grown a pound, all together
you will jeffe, you will. the compound is coming.
For sure! My last setup was basically a proof of concept lol
Thanks @TDubWilly I am assuming you have them sitting on a shelve now in case you need a spare. For the money they did a pretty darn good job.
