How many grows did it take for you to get the yields/quality your looking for?

No right or wrong answer. Just wondering how many grows it took for everyone to get what they were looking out of their grows?

I dont wanna sound arrogant or nothing but my first indoor plant i was hoping for 4oz and got almost 5x that.

Granted this second plant id be lucky to get 1/4 of that. Lots and lots of variables.

When my lights were at least adequate. Was a total turnaround first time I bought solid lights. Used hps/mh and did well but satisfied no. Way too hot and cost too much per gram yielded. Just me.

With me it has been a progression, each time I have been satisfied and have learned. I look forward to continuing to set goals for my grows and continuing to improve.

Both. Kinda. More quality >quantity. Butbgetting more than an 1-1.5 oz would be nice. I made some mistakes here n there with my first couple grows and the one i did outside last year would have been better if i didnt have to throw out 2 or 3 of the main colas because of rot. I have a more consistent schedule this year so i should be able to dail it in now. Was just curious about everyones experience getting what they were looking for.

I agree with this for me. Every grow has definitely been a small step up but a step up none theless

I hear that, man ive all but gave up on the outdoor stuff. The humidity here kills me.

I’m still trying to find my style. I’m leaning toward finding my 4-5 perfect strains and cloning to keep the tents full. I am growing for myself and my wife, so I weigh quality over quantity.

I plan on having 4-5 outside girls this year but now ik that towards the end of the growing season i need to bring them inside at night and out them back out by 830 ish. That morning midlew killed me and i didnt even think about it last time but im 100% sure thats what it was.

Having one steady growin tactic would be ideal. I have basically done the same to all my girls but i need to be more consistent i believe

I wish i could bring mine inside but its not really an option in my situation lol. But with the right conditions inside ive learned im way more effective in my closet grow haha.

I understand that. And i feel like i have read a lot of different growers having better results inside with a controlled environment, understandbly so. I just liked how my super skunk auto grew outside which is why i wana try a few different ones out there mixed in with my veggie garden.

I’ve set my personal grow to be an average of 10 ounces per indoor auto plant. My last grow, grow #5 or 6 maybe 7, gave me an average of 8.75 per plant for flower and 45 grams of keif from the trim.
I know this current grow will not be there, but when I’m consistently harvesting 10 oz per, then I’ll up the goal and go higher.

First grow good quality I had MH400 then HPS450 tried 1000 but too hot for a closet.

I still haven’t learned patience in 2½ years of growing consistently. I’m also keen to autos, though I like growing photos as well. Circle back to the topic, I don’t believe I’ve truly hit any goal I was aiming for. I can hit quality, no problem, but getting the big yields off of photos, well that’s the patience thing. Either flip early, defol early, just all around too antsy lol.
