20 days in nice flowers should I start taking off my sucker leaves the big ones

@Okie2 I usually prune the fan leaves right about that time. I leave most of them at the bottom as I’m usually pruning for air flow and light penetration toward the top. I’ll have to do that thinning at least once more before harvest.

I rarely trim anything green before flowering.
Then, it’s a gradual process. Part art, part intuition.

I like to remove large fan leaves that are blocking lower bud sites. Like @Drinkslinger said as you gain experience, you’ll sort of develop a intuition about what you should remove.
