Should I attempt to grow this all the way or toss it? I found male preflowers which makes this plant a hermaphrodite

Those are flower calyxes.

I second that, those are swollen female calyxes. It’s the seed of it gets pollinated. Those do not look like male flowers to me. The pistils coming out of them tells you they are just fat and happily swollen, and not male preflowers.

There was a perfect example of this earlier this week. I will try to track it down.

Here is the example of a true herm and a pollen/male preflower. Thank you @6lchico for the example pic. Hope you don’t mind…

I thought they were a miniature version ,immature male pre flowers

It can appear in that way as well. Male pods can appear at the plant’s nodes. Refer to the 1st pic I posted above.

If you zoom in on that pic. The male flower is under the female parts. And notice there are no hairs coming out of that one. :eyes:

Female calyx. Males won’t have pistils protruding from the calyx.

Yours look like Guy Fieri with all those hairs. Those hairs are for catching pollen. As female as they get.

You just got advice from some of our best helpy helpers. You wont be let down. My 2 cents is female all the way. If they actually “hermie” you will know. you will have sacks of grapes forming at nodes near main stem. We also will see a plant attempt to make seeds at the end of flower by forming “nanners” in the buds. If late in flower ignore. If super early pluck off when noticed. A couple of seeds in a female plant occurs very often. Take it as a bonus and plant them. More than not they will not be hermie. A true hermie fem photo or auto has that genetic trait and I have had seeds from them just hermie right away. A hermie from stress is not genetic. It is a stress reaction and take away the stress that caused it and no hermie. Just what I have seen over the years with constant grows/strains at all stages at all times.
