Buds ready for harvest will look the same no matter what light they are under.
Most or all the white pistils will have turned brown and curled up. Then when that happens you look at the trichomes and see if they are all cloudy. There should be no clear ones. If you want to let a little amber develop in the trichomes for a more relaxing high then you just have to wait longer for that to happen. Here is an example of a small bud that looks ready. Pistils are all brown.
Trichomes need a magnifier to see. But here is what you look for…

I’m growing under 12 SF1000 lights. 3 per plant and mine grow very nicely.
