Straight out… Y?

Update this morning, took some pictures to.

Okay so twice since I have filled the Res (a week ago) I have added a bit more calcium nitrate to the Res and then the TDS jumped up so I watered it down with straight water. So that’s fking with my ratio but from what I have been seeing it has been needed due to the yellowing and then slight rush blotches so both cal and nitrogen needed.

So that means the P/K, mag and other things are a bit in lower concentrations but it is what it is and I think I will give it today at this and either tonight or tomorrow I’m going to swap the whole Res and hump it to 1300 with the ratios back In line with the feed chart. That will have been 3 days at higher nitrogen levels by the end of today. Sooo we will see what it looks like tomorrow, if it’s still getting worse I will flush.

If not Then I plan to empty the rest of the Res tomorrow and start fresh at the correct ratio for flowering while keeping ppm’s at about 1400 because they are starting to look hungry.

Here are the pics.
Lemon ak 47
Second youngest first pics.

Oldest and also a lemon ak

Then the two NLA, youngest of all four on the left, second oldest on the right

Thoughts autopot friend and others?

Almost every plant I grew( which isnt many ) I have experienced yellowing leaves rusty looking leaves mainly all bigger fan leaves I just cut them off call it beginners luck never had issues that harmed the plant.

The plants are growing good . I think there are some fan leaves on the bottom that could be trimmed off but other than that they look ok . I think starting with fresh nutrients is a good idea , that way there is no second guessing what they are getting . Led lights sure make they them hungry . Your going to get a nice harvest this round .

Just making sure yellowing was the only problem. Different leaf problems could mean a bunch if different things

Wowzers… Okay plans are changing.
Okay so my wifey is finishing her last 2 days of school and we are going Friday to my parents who live isolated but it’s a full days drive away.
For up to 10 days… I just don’t know how many days I’m comfortable with but at the same time I don’t want these plants to take away our life.

So I’m going to clean the whole system tomorrow.
Plum both reservoirs in and mix it all up, run it and top it up just before I leave.

We might be gone 6 or 7 days or maybe be gone 10.
I know the 4 plants will run off the 30 gallon flexitank for over 6 days, and if I mix up the other res it would do 2 plant for a week sooo I think it should be good.

Won’t be ideal but oh well

@Myfriendis410 has a 30 gallon he will be donating to me soon. I would like it for the same reason as you. So I can take a few days off and not have to have my sister come feed these. I am sure your parents will be happy to see you again.

I only see them once a year and last year it was a 10min picnic =( and I’m really close with my parents, they live such a slow life in the middle of nowhere lol aww man I love them!
Your kind words went along way there, thanks @Not2SureYet

Anyways leaving the plants makes me anxious lol but I’m going to try and double triple check everything.

I need to flush the lines but I don’t have anything that I know that works… Gonna have to figure out what will work.

Ps glad you have your sister to come help the odd time. We dont have anyone as we recently moved here… Well a year ago

You’ll be ok.

Ph might be off when you get back. No biggie, fill up reservoir and re-pH it and you’ll be good

What should I start at if my PH swings up over time?

My girlfriend has a buddy we are going to pay to come by once while we gone.

Looking good bro… You have a serious line up of help there my friend… I don’t think you can go wrong… Lol

If your ph swings a lot. You may want to consider changing the cal mag you use. That will effect it a lot. @Myfriendis410 learned that for us.

Even more importantly than that is learned the lesson to be cautious of mixing different manufacturers components together. They obviously were not designed for each other. Kind of counter-intuitive but there it is.

My PH doesn’t swing alot but over time…
I think it’s pretty stable In this 30 Gallon tank.
I can’t switch cal mag because it’s sorta combined 3 part nutrients In the chemgro.
Should I leave it at 5.8? Or should I leave it lower as it swings up giving myself more leway?
Like 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 etc

I don’t get exercised until my PH is over 6.0. In fact I run just about everything at that.

Right but I’m gonna be gone for 7-10 days… I know I’m gonna at least leave it at 5.8 because that’s what I’ve been letting it run at and correcting once it goes to 6.1 but I imagine I can run until 6.2.

Okay so I have flushed the Res and filled both the smaller one that comes (think it’s 10 gallons) with the autopots as well as the 25 gallon flexitank.

I thought it over and I’m going to run the one plant that is a bit yellow off its own Res, the 10 gallon, and I may add a tad bit more nitrogen to it.

Takes a while to mix these solid nutrients as they take a bit more mixing in cold water, so I’m letting it all settle right now and I’m sure the ppm will drift up a bit as the final large salts dissolve in the bottom.
I hand mix with a bambo stick and wait a couple minutes while mixing in between each part because if they don’t mix right they cancle each other out I was told something about the calcium nitrate.

So sitting at about 1000 tds right now and will go back and check on them, mix them up and top it off in an hour or so.
Then I’ll PH it and let that settle, by the end of the day the mixing should be done.
So probably going to run 1350 until Friday and then I’ll top it up to 1450

Stabilized at 1350 tds 5.8 ph

Cleaned the 3x3 with the NLA
Cleaned the trays, gave one a good thinning.

Tomorrow I will clean the 2x4 and the two trays, I will also change the one lemon ak to its own reservoir. This should give me over a week worth of water/food for the monsters.
Stretch is almost over for the youngest plants so lights will be fine.
And my humidity will be a bid low but oh well we are in flower.

We may still pay a friend to stop and adjust PH once.
I’m also going to pre mix two 5 gallon buckets so the friend can just add those if needed before he ph’s

Here is autopot auto heavy defoliating experiment… Fingers crossed.
I feel like some LST or a scrog is possible in cock auto pours because plants grow so well.
Not the greatest pictures but

@MacGyverStoner always told me that increased levels of silica can help stabilize a reservoir. I don’t know the amount or anything.
