I’m trying to tap into the collective knowledge of this amazing web site and get some direction for honest information regarding growing “magic mushrooms”. i’ve looked online of course and there is much out there, but I was hoping some trusted and experienced ilgm member could point me towards usable and verifiable information. how to grow, what are qualities of different spores, trustworthy vendors, etc. This site has been such a treasure for growing and all things marijuana that i’m hoping there is a similar site(s) for that hobby as well. thanks in advance and if this post somehow violates ILGM policy please delete. It’s certainly not my intention to go where i am not supposed to go, just simply trying to learn from experts. best regards to all.

Mushrooms are incredible to grow but it’s also very detailed. There’s many ways to grow them. Sterilization/cleanliness is the golden key to success. I suggest you study long and hard before you venture as spores at $25 bucks a pop can add up in failure quickly.
Once you understand everything it’s an amazing hobby and the product, dear heavenly father there’s nothing better in this world then a

The last grow I did was 2023 I got about 19 Oz (enough for me so I’ll never run out as long as I live they’re good for 11 years) hillbillies - penis envy - White rabbit - albino golden teachers
I try to trip once a month
I’ve found Golden Teacher gives me a feeling of doing Oxy but much better at the right dose, warm and fuzzy!
Penis envy has always been good for an all-round trip (colors, mild visual hallucination etc)
White rabbits is a very heavy on hallucinations and you just never know what you’re going to see but rest assured you’re going down the rabbit hole every time.
Golden teachers I call that a girl trip. Very mild when you’re just not looking to go all the way.
Hillbillies now this is a strand everybody must try once. It’s a solid 4-Hour trip filled with colors, sound effects, wild in your Head hallucinations, crazy visual. It’s hands down the most amazing strand I’ve ever done.
I accidentally on purpose ate 4 grams last summer and got lost in my backyard for 3hrs. I rode my dog a Labrador retriever to visit Jesus Christ (when I got there he was shaving) it’s such a wonderful Strain
I can relate to Hillbillies, just can’t bring myself to put penis anything in my mouth! 
If you bought mushrooms from the street in the 80s or '70s 99.9% it was penis envy
Plus you got to swallow it

How much do you take each time?
Only about a gram, micro dose most time. Occasional 3-4 grams on a long day off. I usually just eat a couple , don’t really bother weighing, high dose days, I weigh! Glad you brought this up, I need to call ole Kev……
