Seedlings stunted growth

hello, I planted these seeds in 9/2/21 gold leaf and silver haze! They germinated and sprouted by 11/2/21.

It is now 19/3/21 and they still look like seedlings, and appear to have slightly stretched( stretching has stopped now) my past grows they grew much quicker and nearly ready to flower by this point with same strain.

Run off ph is 6.09

On a 25degree Celsius day it reaches 35 degrees Celsius and between 38-50% humidity during day and night gets to as low as 15 degrees Celsius and 76% humidity.
Average day from 24 degrees and gets up to 28 degrees Celsius and humidity no higher than 50%.

I don’t have intake fan or air conditioner that comes this week, do have extraction and high heat lights and another fan use 600w I think hid lights they give off orange light and high heat

Plants are 1.2m from light

Do you think the high heat is what is slowing growth and made it stretch or other factors. Only been doing this 6 months any advice to fix this would be appreciated want to get these things fully vegetated and a decent size

Welcome to the forum!

What medium are you in? What’s your watering regime?

It looks like you’re in coco coir with perlite, but it looks a wee bit light on the perlite. If that’s true, one possibility is that your medium is holding too much water and the root growth is suffering. Root health is critical in optimizing overall health and vigorous growth.

The light is higher than I’d hang it. Heat is the limiting factor, so I would lower it as much as possible; using the back of your hand as a gauge you can get a decent idea of the plant’s experience. If your hand is uncomfortable, so is the plant. I think you’re roughly twice as far from the plants as you should be; by moving .6 meters closer, you’ll quadruple the amount of light they’re getting.

The roots are the best part of the plant have filled out a 200mm pot with a solid root system and need repotting soon. I’m using house and garden line up. Heat is uncomfortable even at the distance it is now hence the reason I lowered the plants was unbearable at 60cm.
Would it be worth getting lights with a lower heat output to increase photosynthesis? When the temperature was cooler like late winter to spring everything thrived in there but as it’s end of summer it can get very hot. Before a week ago my average daily temp was nearly 45 Celsius and 70% humidity at best since I lowered it to mostly under 30 now it’s autumn and the fan leaves have grown and put out new growth, do you think perhaps it is still recovering from that and will need more time to take off? 1 week ago was 2 fan leaves and 2 feeder leaves?

I’m using coco coir with clay and perlite and water 1-2 times a day on week 3 veg depending on heat and dryness I leave it till the coco is looking dry on top inch before watering

Hmm they are praying a little which means they want more light and maybe try a little low stress training by tying them down and spreading them out (don’t worry the leaves turn right side up within a day) and how light are the pots themselves cause coco should be so heavy with water that it takes decent effort to lift

I hope you mean expanded clay pellets, and not actual clay.

Yes the hydro clay balls

So you’re lifting the plants out of the containers, and the roots are fully webbing all over? Feel free to post a picture.

When you water, are you topping the container off, or are you looking to see a significant amount of water running off?

What ppm/EC is your nutrient solution? I’m assuming when we say watering, we’re actually talking about a nutrient solution.

How long have your plants been in this size container?

Did you see my prior questions?

Please don’t move to a larger container just yet.

I water with 3L of house and garden coco nutrients and roots excelurator and amino treatment, and calmag for the 6 seeds at week 3 veg going to week 4 on Monday, been in that pot for nearly 2 weeks was going to repot next week, I have made the plants higher to the light as said as temperature isn’t to bad there now it is 26 Celsius and 50%humidity however still morning, plants are now 65cm from light.
I also noticed the fan was on high a bit close to them so I have moved them back as they were being blown around wouldn’t this stress the plant enough to stunt it?sorry said I reached my post limit for new user

You want the leaves to flutter a bit, but definitely not a windstorm.

If you’re using nutrient solution, it’s critical to know the concentration. We get that by measuring with an electrical conductivity pen, or PPM meter. You can order inexpensive ones off Amazon, but I always say buy nice or buy twice.

I will look into getting one ASAP however my previous plants flowering nearly ready to harvest have done fine on this feed guide they are 1mx70cmsame for my clones they have come up nice and thick so far about to flower them

How many 600w HID lights would you recommend for a 3.4x2.2m grow room as I am extending? Thinking 3 a
