Okay I’m a new grower. I had this seedling that I overwatered then underwater. All under a T5 HO 6400k 24 w. Woke up one morning to this.
A day later I upgraded to an HLG 100 RSpec and put her in a 5 gallon pot (Then I learned about big pot little plant syndrome).
This is 2 weeks later (13 days exactly)
I watered 3 days ago (the next day I picked up cal mag, and a ph testing kit for the next watering).
Happy Frog no amendments. 24 inches from light (250 PPFD, 16ish DLI.), 73 degrees, inkbird set to 65% RH (within early veg VPD). Inline running 24/7. Fans on low.
There’s new growth, but it’s slow. I know she’s stressed and recovering.
Should I just water with the cal mag and ph adjusted water next time? Any tips appreciated.

I have done this many times…
It takes them a while to recover, she seems to be getting better

I’m having this trouble as well. This is the second spout in a row I’ve lost. Looked exactly the same. Had a glorious first grow, but now cant seem to grow squat!
Did things pretty much the same as before. Added fox farm light warrior which seemed to be a good medium for spouts/seedlings. No nutes early. Not overwatering. Good lighting and air flow. Temps between 72-85 f . RH between 40-60%. Just treated with peroxide diluted in distilled water. Just incase its microbial. Mine is now over 2 weeks and it looks like it came out of the ground a few days ago. But with crinkly edges
Mine s granddaddy purple fem. Growing in 4x4 tent. 4 vivosun A100 lights, 6” inline on thermostat.
Straight water with a PH of 6.5, would recommend getting the temps up around 78-85, and would mist the inside of a clear solo cup and cover the seedling. This will jump start the growth, water a few ounces around the outside of the clear solo cup dome every 3 days. Remove the dome daily for re-misting and keep it on until the leaves touch the sides of the dome

What size pot?
Crazy growth happens around 3rd or 4th week from what I’ve been told

What size is your grow space? I use 3 gallon fabric pots and grow in a 2 x 4. The 3-4 week growth spurt all depends on a healthy start

Grow space is 4x4. Im currently in a pot about the same size of a solo cup. Planning on it living in a 15 gal fabric pot. Tempted to take it directly there when its ready.

Yep, definitely wait until the plant is healthy before transplanting. That’s a big pot for indoor, IMO I would run 4 plants in that 4 x 4 in 3 gallon fab bags on your next journey

3 gallon fab bags are perfect for indoors. I’ve had some 2 month vet’s not get root bound. And the way the bags allow roots to breathe? No brainer type of decision.
Seedlings that get a lil traumatized take a bit to recover, once those real multi finger leaves start to develop, she will take off. Right now I’d wager she is building her foundation (roots) and getting ready to pop

My last grow was in a 10 gallon and my plant filled it. And while it might be hard to understand, my situation does not allow me to grow more than 1 at a time. So you better believe ima make it count!! Got about 3/4 of a pound last time! Going for a pound this time lol

Well in that case… go big or go home hah

It’s a 2 x 2 with a 1 foot outcrop for seedling and clones so a (2 x 3 x 4) technically.

15 gallon pot in a 2x2 space is a lot of wasted soil. Especially with only 4 feet of over head space. I’d bet you can accomplish similar results in a 5 gal grow bag. Just saying, that’s not a lot of room to fill, and that bag can grow some monsters

Basically my grow space currently is 4’x4’x5’. Im beginning construction of a space 4x8x8 next weekend. My last grow in a 10 gallon rain science bag pretty much filled the tent, and the pot! I will definitely need a bigger space to do this one!
