Seedling is tall and starting to bend

Hi, I’m a new grower. My seedling (GDP feminized) is only a few days old. She seems to be growing tall too fast and today I noticed that she’s bending over. I have a fan on, but I have it pointed at the ceiling. I didn’t plan to move her into a bigger pot until week 3. Should I go ahead move her now or is this normal? Thanks.

It gets stretchy like that when it wants more light. If wasn’t going in to forever home , I would at least burry the stem. Looks like you have 2 Solo cups stacked ? Can fill the one with your soil or coco.

Do you have a different light you plan on using ? I’d bust that out and start using if so.

Yes, I have two cups. The blue one is to catch any water that may leak out of the clear cup. I plan to use this light for all stages. I only have two bulbs on for the seedling. The light has 4 bulbs, so I’ll go ahead and turn all of them on to give her more light and I’ll go ahead and put her into soil. Thanks for the advice!

I don’t want to burst your bubble. But that will not get the job done . You are not going to have results you are hoping with just using that light.

Is there a reason you don’t have a stronger light ?
If budget is tight and are slightly handy, there are some great resources here to build you a budget friendly light that you’d be much happier with.

Yeah that light doesn’t look like it’s even gonna be enough for vegetation… What is it? Just regular light bulbs?

You might as well just wait to try to grow until you solve the light issue. Probably the two most important things to a grow is light, and heat management. Without those two issues solved, there’s no sense in even starting, or worrying about all the other details.

As harsh as that reality is I agree with the others that unless you just doing this for funsies and don’t care about bud, that light simply makes for a slow and disappointing death for that plant
