Hi Team ! can i please ask for some advice with these seedlings please and if i should start again ?? Any help would be apreciated. The soil is very basic with no added fetilisers. I followed germination guides which worked well but after that they have become sick.
What’s the issue?
Briefly describe what you’re seeing.
Slow stunted growth with yellowing burnt edges, germinated almost 2 weeks ago. Light source is approx 1 1/2 feet above plants
Grow details (if known):
Strain: Sour Diesel, Super skunk, White rhino
Stage (seedling/veg/flower): Seedling
Medium (soil/coco/hydro): Soil
Light (type + wattage): 200W
Environment (temp/RH if known):
Photos:
Upload clear full-plant and close-up pictures.
I would try and nurse them back. Soil looks like it may be hot?
I’d like to know what brand of soil. Could be hot soil, or watering.
Yes please walk through the grow.
What’s in the pot
How much and how often do you water. How do you water.
Also have an idea for you if this does not work. A small plant in the big pot is the hardest way to launch a seed. I know I did that exact thing for my first 4 runs. Even when executed perfectly I wound up with some soil problems as you can not glug a liter of water at that age in the pot. This lets part of your soil go hydraphobic and be very hard to fix.
The standard way is starting a a clear solo cup inside a red cup until enough roots are showing and report the plant
I use a non woven fabric pot that will take the plant to node 4. I install in a 4 inch nursery pot. When it gets big enough remove the whole fabric pot and bury it in the middle of your larger pot.
By the time it was ready I was putting 200ml against the fabric and this drew roots. No stall and the roots went right through the pot and never slowed down.
Here is the rootball and small fabric pot pic.
The wood pulls away N from the plants availability and puts towards the wood decomp.
Looks like, Back to the roots organic raised bed mix. Basically all forest litter coming in a wide range of pH.
They aren’t burning. They are yellowing. I’d want a pH check of the medium.
