This thread got quiet. Did u give up on it boss man.

Surely not. There is just not much to show in a month time really. Only reason I do in my journals is for others to see what is expected from growth. While this test journal is primarily for the final product… which I grew my first kraken under an sf2000. Not a bad light. Just slightly over priced. In comparison to bang for buck.
I fully stand by spider farmer. Just with my current knowledge. I know they need to increase their umols or lower their price. To be able to compete with HLG on a real level. The numbers are public information from both companies. No one is hiding anything. They are no longer remotely comparable… just saying. With the much higher values also being much cheaper. Sf is not the one with those values.

But that’s what being the only grow light company to partner with Samsung will do for you. HLG’s official partnership with Samsung means they basically automatically blow all other grow lights that use Samsung diodes out of the water. Since they have exclusive pick of the very highest bins of diodes. Which companies like spider farmer couldn’t dream of getting their hands on… it’s not fair. But that is how partnerships work. The qb 288’s are 0% made by hlg. 100% Samsung. HLG is the only company allowed to sell them. “Partnership”

Pardon my ignorance I am a very new grower but I thought you needed upwards of 300w for a 2x4 grow space. Something like the Mars Hydro TSW 2000 @ 300w.

I am looking to purchase a light for a 2×4 space, no tent and am stuck between Spider and Mars and am getting confusing information on the best bang for a $200 budget.

Hey man I new too, I’m in first grow and all this lighting stuff is wild, one thing I do know is that for 200 $ will not light up a 4x2 to full capacity. I’ve been looking at several lights everything from Mars hydro sp 300- to sf-2000, and I’m looking at HLG always hear good thing about, but to light up that space I’m looking at more around 300-400 range, please if find better deal let me know

Or something like this, can someone tell my thiese lights are half of what HLG lights are or other top brand names. I’m new and honestly don’t know thought Samsung and meanwell driver was what to look for ? Thanks if I need to take down pic please someone tell me not trying to break the rules

Yup that’s them.

You want a 320w (it has 3 boards on it)
Go non waterproof it will save you $
Lm301H and get the reds (Cree xpe2 660nm)
Get it in 3500k

So the first on you linked in non waterproof and 3500k.

When you talk to them and send an inquiry only talk on Alibaba never talk on anything but the Alibaba chat so it’s all recorded (this is for everything you do on Alibaba)
Ask them to reduce the cost for import fees, this way they will say its like 80$ or something.
Then ask them how much to shop to your door with all taxes and import fees paid.

They will do it all boom done. A bit of a wieght and you’ll love it

Awesome thanks a lot will definitely look it to that

@Nicky I dont want to high jack this thread but I have some questions about those lights. How many watts will that light pull from the wall? Also I do not see an option for the reds.

@Kingkupa sounds good. I am on the road a bunch over the next few day but hope to do some research also.
Let me know what you come up with please.

They are true rating, meaning that at full power they are be at the rated Wattage give or take a couple watts.

The red option is there in more then one option

They have 720nm & 660nm uv & IR
Or they have 660nm

I absiolutely did not give up on this project. I have viseos, and pictures to add, and it bothers me that some members feel it appropriate to hijack my test.tevies topic to further their oreferences,

I will post pictures and more videos showing the great results ZI am getting for minimal cost using the SF2000. Considering I have always and still have many HID lamps to use; I am very happy with this LED.

Once again. I look at how the plants respond. This is how I measure the value of any priduct.

I have been busy with a memorial for a friend for the past month. my 84 year old Mother has been in the hospital for 2 weeks and is nor in a rehab facility.

I think you are way off base to even consider coming in here along wiht another 2-3… and hijacking ny test/review topic. So rude.

Advertise your opinions in your own thread.

My Mom might pass way any day. Thanks for being guttheads.*

  • This only applies to buttheads that have to inject their perceived option and opinions over and above the purpose of this particular SF2000 topic, as they see fit. Post your favorite opinions in you your own topics.

The rest of you; I have a bunch of piks and vids I am going to add. The grow is doing great.

To all; Please stay on topic. If you want to prove your own theories, do it in your own topic and stay out of mine! Damnit! This is a Spider Farmer review topic.

I have no issue with doing a HLG review, and I will insist that when i do, it is only about HLG. Comprende?

I have an Alibaba account and was granted permission to post links by Robert and Lennart a long time ago. Post the link, so I can look at it.

I am legally blind and cannt make out your image. Lenart never had an issue helping members from the East. ILGM has never been intersted in sellers from the East, but were always willing to allow us to help members who are located in the East to Far east.

The best option you have is too find a full spectrum whire LED, other than that; I would have to peruse Alibaba to help you out.

With kind regards, RL
