Revegged indoor plant moving outside/transplant to soil or leave in fabric pot?

I had issues with I believe nute lockout and barely got thru harvest. I’m revegging for clones but want to try regrowing the mother outdoors after clipping and wondered if it’s better to leave in fabric pot or transplant to dirt and give the roots room to regenerate? I’ve not grown outside yet

You can do either, depending upon your objectives. If you will have no need to move the plant around, then putting it in the ground with cannabis friendly soil will give the roots plenty of room to grow and expand.

If you feel like you may need to move the plant around for whatever reason, perhaps leaving it in the fabric pot would be best. What size is your fabric pot?

To get it to stay in veg through the summer, wait until late may or early june before putting it outside. If you put it outside too early it will start to flower again before reveging again which can take a couple of months.

That does hint at one reason to leave the plant in the fabric pot. You could put it outside, then bring it back in to give it a couple of hours more light each day. That will keep it in veg until the nights get short enough.

I would not repot it until you see new vegatitive growth. I would clip off any large buds and run it at 24 on a few weeks to get a clear veg signal. That always works for me. If it’s a big plant with good sized buds it can take 8-10 weeks to get reveg. Smaller clones are faster to switch back to veg,

Great advice there, I didn’t think about that one. It’s in a 7 or 10 gal pot.
