I guess im more confused that i only found so very few seeds. I was under the impression that if a plant hermied that it would produce tons of seeds. Finding only 7 seeds is what has me confused. Obviously some herm action happened, is there such a thing as hermied “a lot” and hermied “just a little bit”?

It depends when they hermied really. I’ve pulled a couple seeds out of plants that I never saw nanners on.

Ok. Think this is what has occurred then. Late hermie = few seeds…
No nanners are on any of them

A couple grows back I had a tent that had 5 different feminized autoflower strains in it, where one or more likely hermied from stress (possibly heat/light/underwatered at a critical time, etc…wasn’t documented well).
My last grow I tried 3 of those progeny seeds, and they were all auto-fems (that I tried to keep small):

Best u can do is grow out 4 or 5 of them and watch them closely and see what happens. U may find one that don’t carry that trait and u may find they all carry it. Good luck Merry Christmas and happy New years to all.

Basically my plant didn’t hermie from genetics that is 100% for sure. I supercropped her doing a crucial time in flowering and she totally stopped flowering for 3 weeks that’s the worst kind of stress you can get. She went for almost 140 days at the very end I started noticing the seeds.
I look at it like this, I have so many good valuable seeds that I’ll never be able to grow them in a lifetime. Wasting my time on a potential Hermie seed truly is not even in the works.

Intersex traits occur naturally in cannabis. It’s the plants own way of making sure it continues by seeding themselves. All of our cornerstone stains are from herms/ bagseed. Bubba kush, Cherry pie, sour diesel, GG4, Cookies, despite what cookie fam tells everyone. All of these come from happy accidents. Hell even something like headband was from a hermied Diesel. It’s perfectly fine to run them out just like with any seeds keep an eye out for nanners. I have hundreds of purple Thai beans that came from a giant girl that hermied and not one out of probably 15 I’ve run so far have shown the trait.
