Hi all,
For the first time in 4 summers of growing outdoor AFs I am noticing these little yellow sacs opening up. It is only very few at the moment and mostly on the Wedding Cake AF.
Is this is the hermaphrodite process starting?
Is it ok to let it finish? The plants are 72 days old, but need at least 7-10 more days to 30%amber trichomes, approx…
If this is a sign the plant is turning male, does the process affect the quality of the buds?
So many questions…
It looks to be a banana, I would carefully pluck them out. Normally by the time you see them they’ve released their pollen but I would still spray the entire plants with ph water to wash away any pollen still there. Make sure you spray as close to sundown as possible and you physically shake off any leftover moisture. Moisture is not our friend especially during flower it will sit in your buds and cause problems with molds or mildew. Last make sure you keep an eye out for more because most of the time it’s going to grow more. You’ll probably end up with some seeds but with 3-5 weeks left it would be more of a lose to cut them now imo
Edit = I say some seeds I’ve seen a couple as a result of bananas but I’ve seen many as well but it won’t be as bad as if it was a full on hermie with big sacks
I am trying to grow the White Widow Auto Flower and I am on my 3rd seed. They come up great and grow about two inches with a really skinny stem and then fall down on top of the soil. I have propped them with no success. Please help !!
Just as a guess from what you described, your soil is to wet which causes them to Just rot off right away, there’s a name for it but I can’t remember what it is.

What type of light are you using and how high is it hung? Them stretching is a sign the lights too far away.
