It is just as easy as switching from an 18 hour day to a 12 hour day. The actual trick is to provide a period of approximately 12 hours of unbroken darkness.
When I flipped my outdoor grow last summer, I built a structure out of pvc and tarp. It was early August when I flipped and daylength was still way too long. I had to use the structure to trick the plants into bloom. The daylength at our latitude doesn’t reach less than 12 hours until ~Sept 21

And another different way I just flip em 12/12. Once they get big enough to me, I do not like monster tall plants indoors short and stout.

I hope to grow another one this size. She still smells like diesel with a little vanilla. From the Mystery pak.

Do you remember the treenwith the purple flowers I sent to younlast year for identification? I think they were purple. Anyway, I took a walk today to see how or if it were doing anything and much to my surprise someone dug it up and took it. Quite pissed off I was. Anyway…
