I see conflicting first hand experience ā¦benefit indeed maybe in colder areas it keeps tents temps les fluctuating and the fact your equip gets a break every y hours instead if 18 hours I am in south florida not to benifical for me and I seems some say after a few generations of frying side by sides he didnt say amounts of plants or what but yeild was generally 150 grams less and flowering was always stranger then plants that were vegged 18 6 and also some clones took up to 4 weeks to show pistils from flip ur going from a 6 hour day to a 12 when you flower the plant has to be confused as thsts not a natural thing if your days are short your nights are longer ā¦photo synthesis happens with lights on itās not gonna triple the amount of growth in a day with "3 day and night periods just shortened " itās still the same amount of butyls being produced in 24 hours and the plants receive the same ppf because light light periods the same its just broke up and could lead to stress when flipped if you could segregate plants with an extended dark period I could see maybe u could reprogram with a 36 hour dark periodā¦but again the flowering mechanism is triggered by the amount of Pfr to fr ratio changes below a certain amount and far reds come off in the dark period which is a chemical reaction inside the plant so if itās not given enough time for the pfr to revert to fr then you are essentially running 24 0 with 6 hours of. Electric off because ur plants arenāt getting the rest period and pfr to fr is not o ly used in signaling flowering it signals other functions as well so I wouldnāt do that in my room plus ur limited on your times u can go in there I like my light being on when in awake and or availible to work on them it would aggravate me to have to scurry around putting up my doors from the flower room and getting everything closed up and having to restart in a c ok uple hours ā¦my ops quite large with alot to do in a little time as bnb it is Iād hate to be limited to a 6 hour window
My plants seems to grow plenty fast and healthy as all get out and if they grew any faster Iād be in the jungle lol

Got 3 foot plants tried 2 week veg (right rack) still not Done with strech and there 2 feet with a ton of branches and Iām full next rack that goes in will be 1 week veg pretty much coke out the cloner as soon as I see roots in my clone cups there gonna get a week in the PVC pipes to root there and then strait to flower thatās good because I thought I was gonna need 3 racks vegging at all times to keep this perpetual going but it seems 2 will be plenty giving me more working room where the clones are will be the rack space and the clone cart will go where Iām standing I made a 2 floor cart thinking I was gonna need a bigger supply if clones but I got 200 cells already Nd Iām getti n n g well over 90% sucsssā¦rate Igot like 2/3 of the room on week 5 but its gonna give me a lil lul in harvest but in gonna have a big first one I want a rack a week. In and out

As to your initial question I was not even aware of what 6/2 was, interesting idea.
Frankly what ever works for you & what youāre most comfortable with is probably best way to go.
Iām lazy so Iāll just zap them into 12/12 from 18/6, no Mollycoddling these little brats

Same here. From 18/6 straight to 12/12. And i believe the only thing the plants care about in regards to light time. Is the dark hours. Doesnt matter if ur 18/6 or 6/2. As long as they get less then 12 consecutive hours of dark then they wont flip (usually). Once ur time in the dark goes over 10-11 hours in a row. It triggers next stage
I agree guys I screwed up my last veg ran the lights 24hours. Thought I read that somewhere have learned before starting this grow. I agree about the dark time. Theyāre still drying out a little from last feeding might flush then start giving them flower nutes and pk. They grew like 2 inches in a day. I was like itās time to flip.lol
Its cool, when youāre really attuned to them you see exactly what theyāre doing & how quickly they develop.
And you know when its time to give them the old Fliparoo 
Yeah Iām pretty happy with my 2nd so far. I struggled with nutes first go. I think these are gonna be 3 stinky girls. Iāve aldo given then 1 ml calmag per g every feeding. My first I started for while without calmag. Hey thx to any of you poking your heads in. I appreciate the support. Iām still always learning stuff here.
I think youāre doing great dude, them fricken nutes & soils can be a real pita till one āfiguresā them out, somewhat! and yes, theyāre definitely going to stank you up once the jam is On!

Still have 3.5 big mason jars. Thatās a terrific smoke also. In curious to try the blueberry muffin because it has ppd in its cross. It makes sense because initially get blueberry in the ppd.
I guess depending on your daily recommended smoke intake thatās either good or maybe not so much so?
3.5 mason jars is a good amount of smoke, that would last me a very long time.
Iām just excited for the Blueberry Muffin myself to tell you the truth, very much so looking to your smoke reports in the not so distant future 
No I had about 5 almost full. So it will last till this is smokable.
On their firstc12 hours light
Need to feed them they still had some weight when I last checked but they havenāt had flower nutes yet. Been easing my light intensity up also.
Hey Dank sorry I didnāt see the tag a while back, you have definitely learned really fast your doing a great job (quality equipment helps eh)
That Canna nutrition line is $$ so use what you have but you should definitely explore other options (Dry nutes are so cost effective! Iām actually going to add GH maxibloom this grow and see how things go my base has been the Chem Gro 4-20 but @the2409labs pointed out it didnāt have the Fulvic acid and after some research I realized we should all be adding humic acid and kelp in a 5:2 ratio, so will probably buy them for next grow)
The humic acid and kelp was studied over 10 years by Virginia tech and the results were pretty dramatic so as much as I want to keep it simple I think itās a cheap way thats proven to pay off.
Your tents looking nice, how long was thst veg in total? That tents going to be PACKED, once those colas start forming be sure to get some airflow on them turn your clip fans downward or run them on the canopy level at an angle

@Nicky some aspects of it do cost, as long as it works, I wonāt complain. I had terrible results, and not much success with other dry nutrients.

I too never had the best luck with dry nutes. I also didnāt really give them a proper chance. Maybe a good test to run in the lab.
Iāve also never used dry nutes indoors. I used Coast of Maine on a random outdoor grow and it was pretty good but I have zero outdoor experience.
I am interested to follow Nicky and also help him figure out his GH FloraBloom measurements once heās ready to flower.
Actually Nicky, the dry nutes youāre using, Chem something or otherā¦ do you sprinkle them directly onto or into your soil or do you mix with water?
